  1. I am finding myself trying to decipher if I need to be on the outside of my marriage. Difficult relationships are so exhausting. Thank you for the reminder that I am not alone, and my beautiful savior has provided a helper and guide in the Holy Spirit.

    • D,

Abba Father-Please give D a discerning heart & mind to know if she needs to be on the outside of her marriage. Guide & direct her steps. Give her a sense of peace & contentment no matter the outcome. AMEN

      Blessings 🙂

  2. What a conundrum. As a believer it’s difficult to always know when to step away from others when our lives were built for relationship. Relationship with eternal purpose. This is good wisdom you’ve shared today, thank you.

  3. Please pray for my Mama and me! We are going through a HARD trial. My dad’s care has become too much for us, but we also can’t afford to pay the cost of care either. OH PLEASE pray for us! We NEED GOD’S HELP and WISDOM!

    • Praying for you. The Lord will make a way for you where there seems to be no way. Nothing is impossible for Him!

    • Dear Heavenly Father, hear now the cry of Amatha and Linda great is their love, bring to them wisdom and hands to help, may your mighty wind of Grace surround them and lift their burden and give them peace. In Jesus we ask. Amen

    • Praying for you both and the challenges you are going through. Look up and pray! You are not alone. God is always with you and somehow, someway, in His time, He will make a way!! Blessings and love from God, and me.

  4. The tells us we are to take care of our heart. It is hard, but sometimes we just need to walk away and be good to ourselves.

  5. This is exactly what I needed to read and pray over today. Been struggling with a very similar situation and wrestling with feelings of guilt for wanting to remove myself. Thank you for sharing what you went through and for the reminder that even our Lord set appropriate boundaries.

  6. Wisdom comes from the LORD who teaches me to depend on HIM for guidance and direction in my journey with the LORD.
Recently, I had a similar experience, and the Holy Spirit enabled me to make the decision to keep away from that person.
I was hurt and very disappointed, as she is a ” mature’ Christian. Moreover, we have been in the same BS for many years.
I am now praying for the LORD to direct my path to new pastures where I can continue to serve HIM wholeheartedly.
It’s a sad truth that even Christians bicker, envy and gossip that lead to break up in relationships.

  7. You set boundaries, what do you mean ? can you give an example I feel dumb for asking this but want to be clear should I find myself in a similar situation

  8. Thank you for this wise Devotion. It can be difficult to submit our relationships to God. God wants us to live under His Peace; not fearing/hiding from the conflicts certain people bring into our lives. We still need to keep those people in our prayers, because we are fighting against flesh & blood, but a Spiritual War.

  9. Kristen,

God made us for community-yet He doesn’t expect us to be involved with toxic people. Sometimes the best thing we can do is pray about relationships. Ask God if this person is right for you. Only He knows who is best for us. There are times in our lives when we need to move on to other relationships. Trust the Holy Spirit to lead you.

    Blessings 🙂
