  1. Helpful words! In early January I need to make a decision about a procedure for my back-not a surgery, but a series of injections that might alleviate discomfort, yet as with all procedures, has possible negative side effects . . .

    • Sharon,

Jesus please give Sharon L a discerning mind to know your will about this procedure. Make it known to her if she should proceed or not. Send people to encourage her during this time. Help her to trust you completely! AMEN

      Blessings 🙂

  2. Oh how this spoke to my heart & soul!
    THANK YOU‼️

P.S. Sharon L., I pray for you & a proper outcome with your decision & possible procedure

  3. Loved this! “May you resist the urge to sprint ahead of God — and instead walk with Him, step by step.” I don’t need to know ahead of time what 2026 will bring. I need to remember that God is with me in it – always.

  4. I love this devotional. It’s a description of both hope and faith to me. Thank you so much. May we all decide to “walk with God.”

  5. Thank you for today’s reading incourage. No matter what what obstacles we go through in life Jesus is there to help us through them. All we have to do is go him in prayer and leave it with him. Stand on his promises and know he will help us through them taking one day at time. Like the song “One day at time Sweet Jesus, that’s all I’m asking of you. Just give me the strength to do everyday what I have to do, Yesterday’s gone, Sweet Jesus And tomorrow may never be mine. God help md today show me the way, One day at a time. I’m only human. I’m just a woman, Help me believe in what I could be, And all I am, Oh, show me the stairway, That I have to climb. Lord for my sake, teach me to take, One day at time,” That is some of the words to that beautiful song it teaches us to take one day at time and trust you Lord for everything and all the so called obstacles as you Lord can make them into something beautiful. As we tend to see them in our eyes as obstacles that we think can never be knock down and we can never get rid of. With you help Lord we can. If you don’t help us get rid of them you will Lord help us through them I say Amen to that. Happy New Year to you all incourage and your families from me in Northern Ireland in my prayers. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland xx

  6. (in)courage community women…….I love your words today, Sunday and church is almost ready to begin. Hope and peace is something I crave as Becky Kiefe’s book that I read each day, helps me so much. Anxiety and panic attacks have haunted me since I was 7 years old. I always trust Jesus and pray that I may walk with him as I face so many ongoing emotional fears. I will keep reading this devotion and it will reinforce my faith that is deep and unshakeable no matter what my immediate family think that I belong in a mental institution among other nasty things said about me. Susan L., I pray that you make the decision that will help you with your pain. I have been through that so many times and never knew what to do as you spoke about there is always some side effects that you don’t know if that will happen to you. I pray that you have some people that can help you try and sort this out, but as I found out, IT WAS STILL MY DECISION ! God Bless you, Susan. We all need to remember to “Walk with God”, but sometimes that is even difficult. Love and a Happy New Year to all of you that read and comment on the devotions. Your comments often help me continue to HOPE and stay right at God’s side….Betsy Basile

  7. Truly one of my favorite ’emails’ in my in-box. My heart and soul always smile at the ‘faith-filled’ words and beautiful reminders of God’s amazing love that graces this space. Thank you, Dayspring! 🙂

  8. In Courage,

Sprinting ahead of God instead of praying never turns out good. The younger me always wanted to move forward. I didn’t think about seeking God’s wisdom. As I age & have matured in Christ-I stop & pray more about situations before going ahead. 2026 I will walk hand in hand with God. Praying more about everything!

    Blessings 🙂

  9. Reading this from the Neuro ICU as my mom is being treated for a stroke that occurred on Christmas evening. God help our family to come to you with our fears and tears. You know my mom by name and you will not fail her now!
