  1. Your writing brings life to simple words. Each and everyday I look for the colors in every moment. The colors only God can give.

  2. So beautiful! I found myself praising God with my hands in the air while reading your post. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

  3. I loved this! It brings me comfort at 65 because I still don’t know the full plan for my life but I’ll never stop believing there is one.

  4. Thank you so much for this today! It has been an extremely difficult week due to family issues. This was a much needed encouragement! Hugs and prayers ❤️

  5. What a beautiful piece of writing. And while some days are better than others, and there are some hurts that still have not healed, new days and opportunities are ahead. And the colors of this season are as vibrant as ever as long as I keep Jesus in my heart.

  6. You may not feel like an accomplished artist with the paint brush, but you are certainly gifted by God to paint beautiful pictures with words. Loved this!!!

  7. This brought sweet memories of my mama doing paint by number paintings when I was a child. It is a good analogy. My life doesn’t look like I hoped it would, but God isn’t finished with me yet, even at 73, and He is the Master painter who only makes beautiful. Thank you.

  8. Dear Kaitlyn……….Loved your devotion today especially because 2025 has been a rough year for me to journey through. I had God to talk to who helped me to get through these heartbreaking experience. I will look for the colors and I pray that some of my circumstances are resolved in 2026. I often tell Jesus that 2026 will be much better and that God is always working behind the scenes and “The Wait” is sometimes hard to do. I would love to see your prints so I will subscribe and look forward to them. I wish you and your family and friends a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year………..Love to you…………..Betsy Basile

  9. I loved this! Thank you so much for sharing your story. My Dad was an artist and when I look at his paintings now I always see something new in it somewhere that I had not noticed before.
    Many blessings to you

  10. Kaityln thank you for what you wrote today. All so true. Like the kids song “Our God Is A Great Big God” so our God is. Psalm 118:24 says ” This is the day the Lord has made” So it is. Psalm 150:6 says ” Let everything that has breath praise the Lord praise the Lord” yes let’s us do that. We have to not matter what we go through see the goodness of God in the everything and to not let what going on in our world get to us either. Even if we don’t see it because of our problems or what going on it our world. We have to see beyond all this and see our problems we can pray about them to God and stand on the promises of his word. Then leave them at the foot of the cross knowing God will help us through them. We have to also see beyond the trouble in world and see the beauty in it with help of God and each beautiful color. Like the artist painting a picture he has paint brush in his hand and all the beautiful colours beside them. He uses them to paint a beautiful picture. Then when finished the painting the artist look at it and how the different colours in it have helped make it into the beautiful picture it is when finished. We have to do the same use our eyes as a paint brushes to see the beauty in the world beyond all going in it that God created. Like the colour of the sun the birds in sky the flowers in the garden and all the beautiful butterflies etc the list go on. To think our God made them all how amazing?. So God is still at work despite the wrong in the world and in our lives. God gave us a gift of 86,400 second today. So have you used one to say Thank you God. As there are so many things to thank God for and I say to that. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland xx
