  1. Dear Becky,

I am truly going to miss your presence at (in)courage! Thank you for sharing your heart as a writer, your gifts and talents as the Community and Editorial Manager, and your faith-filled encouragement for so many readers for so many years!! Praying God’s blessings over your next chapter, sweet sister in Christ! You are a blessing!!

  2. I will miss you, Becky. You and the all the women who contribute mean so much to me. My day is not complete until I read what is posted each day. So many times it’s as though you are speaking directly to me. Today is no exception. I wish you joy and blessings as you begin another chapter in your life.

  3. I feel blessed to have read your words over the years. They have meant so much to me. Thank you for sharing your heart with us for the past nine years.

  4. Becky, it has been the greatest honor to work and write alongside you at (in)courage. You are intelligent, brave, kind, graceful and grace-filled, and I wish you all joy, peace, wonder, and blessing in this next season of life. I love you so, dear friend. ♡

  5. Wow..these words resonate. After 30 years with a Christian ministry, I am facing retirement..and it’s hard and scary…these people are my family, my “tribe”..this work has been my purpose. But at 71, maybe it’s time for a new phase. Thank you for the encouragement. And best wishes for your new pathway!

    • Trudi, I sense the Father whispering to your spirit, Well done, good and faithful servant. He is so pleased with how you have loved His people and partnered with Him for the kingdom. I pray you will feel both his comfort and courage as you remember His goodness over the last 30 years and trust that it will carry forward in new ways you can’t yet hope for or see.

  6. I will miss your devotionals, Becky, but I trust God is leading you and you will be blessed and you will be a blessing as you go with His guidance. As I was reading this it reminded me of the message at church yesterday. My husband led worship at a small church (our regular church canceled service yesterday). Anyway the title of message was “Behold I do a new thing” and it was from Isaiah 43. Some of my notes are: “The Lord wants us to walk in abundance. The Lord is FAITHFUL to us every step of our lives. Do not fear. Do not look back… it slows you down. 2026 is a significant year. Hear His voice. Shine brightly.” (Just sharing in case this word would bless you, Becky, and others who read it). May the Lord bless you!

  7. Thank you Becky. Thank for your words of encouragement. Thank you for sharing what is good, bad, ugly, hard and a blessing. Thank you for your prayers.
All the best in your new adventure with God \0/

  8. Oh my….you will be missed ! I have forwarded so many of your blogs to hurting friends who needed to read your healing words.
God’s abundant blessings to you as you have been a blessing to me.

  9. Thank you, Becky for your beautiful words and ministry through this beautiful community of believers at and with (in)courage. Waking up every morning and reading the daily devotional has been a blessing for so many years. Wishing you happiness and blessings as you enter this new season of life with God’s guidance, Jesus by your side, and the Holy Spirit in your heart.

  10. Becky yes good byes are hard. When you done something you love so much for years and years. God say I want you to leave what your doing at the moment to follow this new path I am taking you on and this new adventure. You can wonder did you hear right from God. Or was it just your imagination or just in your head. You begin to doubt is this really God speaking to me. When you know it is God you have to truly trust him in this new adventure in your life. Take one day at time stand on his promises and do what ever he tells you to do. Taking one step at time. Enjoy the new adventure God is taking you on. I belive with all you have been through in your life becky God is saying now this is time for you and your family together. Enjoy every day with them and this new adventure God is taking you on. Yes it can be scary and you can wonder what God is doing. God has given me Joshua 1:9 for you. It says ” Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage, do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” So God is with you in all this Becky and you have to do as that verse says. Remember God is with you wherever you go and he takes you. I will keep you in my prayers for this new journey you are going on with God. It’s like Andrew Yelland of World Share ministries. He used to be a pastor senior of Crofts End Church in Bristol for 18 years before that he was a Police officer in Bristol for 17 years. Then God told him to leave the police force and become a pastor which he did. Then God told him to leave after 18 years of being a Pastor. To join World Share ministries in 2022. Him and his wife prayed about it. God said to move to Join World Share. He is chief executive for them. All through it he trusted God in all the different calling in his life so did his wife. I Share that with you to trust God in everything like Andrew Yelland did. Like the verse in Joshua 1:9 to remember God is with you wherever you go. Thank you for all you have done for incourage down the years. Love God bless in my prayers as you scary this new journey with Jesus. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland. xx

    • Dawn, your words are a gift. Thank you for being such a faithful part of this community. I’m grateful for your prayers and that we got to share in this space together for so many years. Blessings to you, dear one.

  11. Dear Becky….I was crying when I was reading that you were leaving. You have been one of my mainstays for years now. I am reading your book on the Anxious Soul. I am on day 52 today and I get so much advice from you and help to keep on going even though after 6 years, it goes on. My son still has berated me with obscene emails that are lies. My now ex-husband I went to see and he did not even recognize me after 54 years of marriage and my sister, who I don’t even know where she is has not spoken to me in 9 years ( right after my beloved mother died ). I saved the worst thing for last, my son and his wife refuse to allow me to ever speak or see him again. He is 15 now and I have had no communication with him since I saw him 6 years ago. It is so heartbreaking and I pray and I am ashamed to say I beg that Jesus can help me somehow. I know He is always with me and my Holy Spirit whispers to me often and knows just what to do when I am feeling really crushed. I like you read others comments and as you did, I then realized that I am not the only one in these terrible seasons. This place where I live is also awful. The managing company does not care about the residents and we have 100 here. They only care that you can pay the rent that just was significantly raised starting next month. Becky, I just do not know what to do without you and your wise words. I pray that whatever you are moving on to, that I am sure you will succeed. That is how much I love and respect you. I am also going through the Book 100 days of Strength in any Struggle for the 2nd time. I can’t even tell you how much my spiritual growth has increased, comparing what I wrote a year and a half ago. Big differences! Please remember me somehow. I will NEVER forget you. An Angel amongst us………………….Betsy Basile

    • Betsy, I’m so grateful for the ways you have found encouragement and comfort here at (in)courage. Though your trials continue, we can stand firm in the hope that God is WITH you WHERE you are and wherever life will take you. You are made in His image and precious in His sight. I’m so sorry for all you have suffered. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfector of your faith. He is preparing a place for you in His Father’s house. What joy it will be to see you there one day. Much love.

  12. I can’t picture how (in)courage will look without you, Becky! Seeing your byline always means “good things ahead!”. Your input will be sorely missed. May you be richly blessed, in the future you have chosen!
