  1. I have been praying for a Christian friend to come into my life for years. Years. I’m 64 years old and am starting to give up hope. But I will keep praying that, in His timing, that friend will come into my life.

    • Suzanne, I am almost 69 and in the same position. My best friend was my sister who passed away six years ago and that emptiness is yet to be filled. I have some good friends, but not the heart friend, can open up about anything person. I will pray for you as well.

      • Laurie,

So sorry about the loss of your beloved sister. May God comfort you.

Father God please bring 1-2 friends to Suzanne. People she can share the good & bad of life with. Those she can do things with & enjoy time together. Someone who would be there for her if she needed. AMEN

        Blessings

  2. I have prayed and longed for a friend for years – it just isn’t happening. I don’t know why, maybe God is teaching me I need only Him. We go to a mega church and have some surface friends. My husband never wanted to be part of a small group. Sometimes I feel alone and wish for more connection. Thanks for sharing your story.

  3. Becky,

While I have lots of dear girlfriends my husband, and I only have one other couple to do things with. They’re about 10 years older. They are in a different stage of life, but I’m really grateful for them living just down the street. I continue to pray for a couple our age to travel with and enjoy life with.

I’m so grateful you have, dear friends!

Sending you summer joy, Lisa Wilt

  4. I don’t think I’ve ever had charcuterie. If I did, my favorite cracker to put on there would be Aldi’s saltine crackers (they are best in my opinion) or the toasted ritz chips.
Also, I just wanted to say I’m thankful for the family and friends that I have that surround me and support me. God has definitely blessed me.

  5. Becky,

My husband & I are both introverts. We love staying home alone. It is hard to find couples to do life with due to our work schedules. He has a few friends he talks with. I have one really good friend. She & I talk abut anything & everything. There are a few others that I know I could count on for prayers. I feel blessed to have such a posse of friends.

    Blessings 🙂
