  1. Prayers for everyone that posts a request here today. It is so awesome that the same God who created the universe and is all powerful loves to bend down and hear me and is concerned with the details of my life. May you each be blessed, God is good— all the time!

  2. I’m moving soon and am praying for the perfect place where I can be used by God, bring light, and be at peace. I know God has my back, and ha gone before me. Please pray for my strength during the wait, and for my faith not to falter. Thank you and God Bless you!

    • Dear Shay…..I am praying for you as you move. I have gone through this just a little over a year ago. I will be honest and say it was not easy, but I kept praying that God would give me the strength to get through it as I was by myself and 75 years old. In the beginning I was so weary from all the work to move and then get used to my new apartment. I was used to a large house for 40 years and I had to get rid of so much to move into a 1 bedroom apartment. Slowly I began to adjust to this as I had no other choice. If you know the Serenity Prayer. I finally accepted that I had to have to have the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Since I don’t know you, I will say that for me, I had to face a difficult divorce as my husband of 52 years had dementia and tried to kill me so I had other things that weighed heavy on my heart. Just be sure to find a place you really like. That is where I made my mistake. I just went where there was an opening and never asked the right questions. Shay, God will not abandon you and He does not forget you. It sometimes just takes awhile until you may hear from Him, but then it will make you smile and feel much stronger. My love and prayers to you because I feel close to you because of what I just told you. Listen to your Holy Spirit to whisper to you as well. He is ALWAYS with you……………….Betsy Basile

    • Dear Lird, please be with Shay as she navigates her move. Give her guidance, strength and patience.

    • Shay,

Jesus assist Shay in her move. Guide her to the place you have picked for her. Give her strength as she awaits your timing. Help her faith not to falter. Make her useful for your purposes in her life.. AMEN

      Blessings 🙂

My husband’s current job will end this month and we need God’s direction, wisdom and favor for the right open door and provision for our family. Our marriage and connection has also been deeply impacted from years of chronic stress, busyness and disappointment, and we need God’s help and renewal.

    • Dear Father, would you come meet Dee and her husband in a special way in the midst of their worries and stress. I pray that You will open the right door and provide in amazing ways. I also pray that You will bring restoration and healing to their relationship in this season. Please come fill them with Your beautiful peace and joy while they wait on You. In Jesus’s name, Amen.

Trying to juggle it and figure it all out. I am so tired and worn out as I am the only one helping him. Please pray for my dad and I as we navigate this new season.

    • Father, give Helen your strength and endurance in this season of caregiving. Comfort her and her father as they grieve and look to you in this new season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

    • Helen,

Praying for you. I have been in your shoes. Ask a social worker if you could get hospice for your dad. We did for mom. It was a blessing to allow dad to have some free time. When dad got bad we moved him to an assisted living. These are just a few options that worked for us.

Father God please give Helen the strength she needs to handle her dad & his dementia. You alone know what she is dealing with. Send people her way to assist her give her the advice she needs. I pray my options are helpful to her. I only want the best for her as I’ve been there also. AMEN

    • Heika,
Please know that I have prayed for you! May God be close to you and give you peace as you wait for his help.
      In Jesus’ Name,

  21. Thank you for this needed reminder….aging and all the difficulties that come with it create an atmosphere of loss and helplessness. Yes, it is our preparation time to ‘clean out, say needed words to family and friends, to be faithful and focused on Jesus’ …..it is also a time of tremendous loss—-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. We are no longer busy serving others or helping with the latest project. Ours is one of reflection and getting legal paperwork completed and all the details of ‘closing an earthly existence.’
It is gift that needs to be cared for diligently! I ask the Lord, once again, to guide my moments and allow me to ‘rest in arms, care and presence until I see Him in person!

Blessings to all of you who are involved in this critically important work— it is needed and appreciated more than you can know…looking forward to being with in heaven!

Also, I would like to ask for some prayers.
First, my family and I have all been battling a sinus cold or head cold this past week and still not feeling 100 percent yet, so I just ask for healing there.
Also, I ask for prayers for my sister. This week she has her final exams for her last year in high school. She is a senior and will be graduating some time in the beginning of June. So, I just ask for wisdom, guidance and clarity as she navigates those tests and her last week of high school.
