Please pray for a decision my husband and I need to make. Whether or not he would be the new worship leader at a very small church of 10-20 people. We love our current medium size church. I am in an awesome women’s Bible study and we are in a Lifegroup and on the greeting team. The tiny church does a lot with evangelism and outreach to the needy and homeless. My husband and I also do homeless ministry so we have that connection with the small church. It is a very difficult decision. We are asking our closest friends to pray for God’s guidance in this. Please pray that the Lord will lead us and guide us in what we decide. Thanks so much.

      Amber,

Father God give Amber & her husband a discerning heart & mind to know your will. Guide their steps on this journey. Make it clear if you want them to change churches or not. It can be such a hard choice. You alone have the answers. Give them peace & patience as they await your answers!

      Blessings 🙂

      • Amber says

Beth, thanks so much for your prayers. I can struggle with patience at times, so I’m grateful you also prayed for patience and peace in the process. May the Lord bless you!

Please pray for God to remove relationships that are causing me to sin. I would like to remain in fellowship with our Lord Jesus and abide in Him but I am being distracted by things that are not from God. Also for me to stand firm in my faith and to get back to the place where I honor and please God with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, to live in obedience to Him, living in holiness and righteousness.

    • Daria says

Recognizing the need to remove those relationships is huge! Praying the LORD will bring new people into your life that will share the love and support that you need. You are never alone on this journey. Praying you will find firm ground to stand on, to be still and know that He is with you! Stay strong sweet sister in Christ! You are loved and prayed for.

Dear Debbie…….I will certainly pray for your daughter with her depression, anxiety and PTSD. I know what Lauren is going through as I had the same thing for many years of my life. It started when I was 3 years old and back in those days, nobody cared or even thought about this horrible feeling. I also suffered from panic attacks that were really bad. I lost so much weight as I could not eat and I just didn’t know what to do. This continued for many years even after I was married. I found it hard to even go to work as I had to hide these things. I will pray every day for Lauren and hope that she will find someone to help her. I feel her pain and of course your’s too, Debbie as you are her mother. I know how difficult to go on and I still suffer with depression and anxiety due to my problems. I do take some medication, but it often does not work. I am there for you and Lauren. I promise. Betsy Basile

    • Donna says

Dear Debbie, I also have suffered seasons of depression and anxiety, but the Lord has always brought me through. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hold onto Him as He holds onto you!

  9. Betsy Basile says

To the (incourage) community who provides us with so many wonderful devotions every day and they all help me to even though it has been a long wait, you give me HOPE that at some time He will find a way to reconnect me with my son who disowned me due to saying that I was a liar about his father’s dementia and he also said that he and his wife would never allow me to see or talk to at that time my 1 grandchild, a boy who at that time was 11 years old and now in a couple of months he will be 15. I don’t even know what he looks like. This has been into my 4th year of heartbreak as my grandson is the love of my life. My son did find out his father had the violent type of dementia, when he tried to kill me and I was told I had to get him out of our house of 40 years for my own safety. My husband would not follow his doctor’s orders and the first thing they told him, was that he had to eliminate all alcohol. Instead of doing this, he increased what he was drinking and he went to drinking more and he abused me for 3+ years as I stayed with him to try and get him to believe that he was sick. There are so many other things that go along with this part of the story, but suffice it to say, There has been no communication with any of the 3 of them and all of the rest of my family and relatives have passed on, I know that the Lord is with me and my Holy Spirit is always by my side, but I am 77 years old and still I feel such loneliness that at times I feel like giving up, but my faith tells me not to. Thank you for your words today and I am getting ready to go to church so I will just continue to pray and ask for HOPE and LOVE and PRAYERS to help me put one foot in front of the other……………………………..Betsy Basile

  11. Rebecca says

We need prayer for healing and financial provision. This year has been our hardest year yet. It’s only early April and I’ve survived a life threatening illness, had 2 surgeries and been on crazy high steroids, and missed 2 months of work. Lord willing, I’m going to try to return on a very part time basis tomorrow. Treatments still continue. Thousands have already been put on a credit card, but thousands more to spend. And my husband now needs his own surgery, he’s struggling too. The way seems scary and impossible but we know the impossible is possible for God. Thank you for praying!
