  1. Dear Allison……..A very sweet story today on your words in your devotion. I enjoyed it so much. I do love God’s light and it certainly makes me feel so much better with all the problems facing me at 77 years old. I will forever watch his light regardless of how sad or depressed I feel.
My best to you and your family during this Christmas season as we wait to celebrate the birth of Jesus. Thank you again for your devotion today……………………….Betsy Basile

  2. Thank you Allison! What a beautiful story of God’s light! How precious that your son has such a gift. I love God’s light. When I sit in my family room on my couch at night, and look out the window, I see a bright light every night that one of my neighbors has turned on. It always reminds me of the light of the world; God!
Blessings to you and your family.

  3. This doesn’t apply exactly, but I was reminded of the quote: “It is no small thing, when they, who are so fresh from God, love us.” (Dickens, evidently). It is wonderful that your son is growing up in an environment where he can have a relationship with God and have that affirmed and nurtured. May he continue to see and share God’s light as he grows and matures!

  4. Perhaps the “God Light” are the soothing and comforting thoughts that brighten our day, from writers such as yourself. Blessings for a most radiant “God Light” day to you!!

  5. When I was a little girl growing up in Southern California, I had a habit after dinner on really sunny days. I’d climb the brick wall in my backyard and sit there watching the Sun slowly set over the ocean. The sky would be full of light and rays of the sun. I felt warm and the brink wall I was sitting on felt warm too. That’s where I felt close to God and I’d talk to Him and I felt His love for me!! When I think of God Light I think of sitting on that wall…. It’s kind of my favorite little memory of me and God:) Thanks for reminding me,Alison!!
