  1. We bear so much guilt because we think everything in our kids’ lives depends on us. But God gives the growth. We’re just responsible for providing the best soil & environmental conditions we know how to give. & He helps our puny little efforts.

  2. I absolutely LOVE this! I love that this is written as if God is reading it. Thank you for another great set of books written!

  4. Such wonderful encouragement for parents and a reminder that God does the growing of the seeds we help plant.

  5. I would love to share these books with my grandchildren. I love the heart behind them – wanting them to know God’s heart.

  6. As a working mom of three,Evalyn 9, Liam 5, and Maddie Jean 18 months I think this would be a great book series to read as our night time devo before bed each night. We have a routine of reading books which my kids love but this would be even better and as we read they could learn about our loving Father.

  7. Thank you Jennie. You followed how God made you! You must be amazed and grateful everyday that “your dream” came to be!
My daughter and son-in-law have 5 children. They are busy…and blessed and tired. They remind their “wild bunch” that God is everywhere \0/

  9. I wish I had this when my kids were younger but would love to share with grandkids. What an great idea and inspired project!

  10. I so loved the reference to God’s strength when we are weak. Frankly we are always weak even when we try so hard to be strong. But in my estimation that’s when we truly see God’s hand and power working. I believe that’s when we can see and feel His power and His love (like the Calvary in the old western movies) coming to the rescue.
Remember the story of Samuel. As a child he heard someone calling his name and his first reply was Here I am. That’s when the power comes. When we reply “here I am.”

  11. Thank you for this reminder. I have only one child, a grown daughter for whom we are not close, sad to say. She believes in God, yet I don’t know what that looks like. I am discouraged. I know God knows all things. I will continue to pray for her and try to be an example to my grandsons, who I don’t get to see in person as they live in the USA and I Live I Canada. Thank you for this encouragement as I really needed this today. God Bless Mothers everywhere.

  12. This sounds fabulous! I have four young children and I would be delighted to be able to point them to a deeper understanding of God!

  13. This sounds like something that I would want to buy for our Children’s Ministry Pastor who has two young boys under the age of 8.

  14. What an awesome idea for families to share with children. The most important story of their lives–The Story of God. As a nanny I would like the set to share with the kids in my care. Thank you

  15. These books sound great for little ones! I love books and read with my grandson often so now he loves to read too! I would love to share these with him!

  16. I love this. I had my children in church every week, but wish I had been more intentional in raising them to be closer to Jesus. This would be great to share with families with young children.

  17. We all need God! I think that these books would help people of all ages. I love to learn about God right beside my grandkids.

  18. I love that it tells the big story of God and helps the children see God throughout the entire story. Such a great resource.

  19. Jennie,

Congratulations on the book. Children need a way to see themselves in the stories of the Bible. It can be daunting to understand some stories even as an adult. Thanks for great books.

    Blessings 🙂

  20. Jennie Allen’s journey and passion for creating “The Story of God” resonate deeply with the challenges and aspirations of every parent navigating the tumultuous waters of raising kids. Her dedication to providing resources that bridge the gap between individual Bible stories and the grand narrative of God’s love is truly commendable. As parents, we can find solace in the reminder that, even in our imperfections, God’s grace and purpose shine through our role in shaping our children’s faith. The “Story of God Box Set” is a treasure trove, a thoughtful ally empowering parents to nurture a profound understanding of God in their children’s hearts

  21. I woule love to add this to my library in teaching my grands and kids in Bible class the names of God. I developed lessons of his names A-Z which I taught a number of yrs ago to help children know and develop a real love relationship with God.
Thank you! If I don’t win, I’ll order it.
