As the close of this Advent season drawns near, perhaps more than ever, we feel the ache of wanting God to make all things right again. Let’s let the words of this familiar passage marinate in our hearts.
Jesus is our Wonderful Counselor. When we are in despair from the overwhelming pain of this year, we remember that God is Healer and Counselor. He is both the One who helps us and the very balm we need for our broken hearts, our fragile minds, and our bruised bodies.
Jesus is our Mighty God. When we are taken advantage of, when we feel powerless, God is our strength and our defender. No can stand against His powerful name.
Jesus is our Eternal Father. When we feel unloved — particularly during this holiday season, we remember that God is our loving Father. He has known us from before He created the world and knows where we are headed. He cares about each moment and every part of our lives.
Jesus is our Prince of Peace. When fear and anxiety rule our hearts, He is still the giver of peace. He Himself is Peace and dwells within us through the Holy Spirit. Find rest in Him.
Come, Lord Jesus, come. Amen.
He will. And He has! And the same words Jesus spoke to His disciples on their last night together, He speaks to our hearts today.
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled or fearful.”
John 14:27 CSB
Indeed, the Savior is coming and has come. The Prince of Peace. The Only One we need.

Jesus is our Prince of peace,i am very encouraged by this passage I fear nothing I don’t have to let my heart be troubled.
My Dear Promise from our Heavenly Father: “God will never leave or forsake you.”
What a Blessed Promise !
That means that I have no reason to fear anything or anyone.
“God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.”
I want to teach my three daughters by example.
I need the Holy Spirit to Guide me in all areas of my life.
Thank You Lord for sending the Holy Spirit to us.

Peace. we all are in need of Peace. God has given us this wonderful gift yet we all strive for happiness. may we all feel God’s peace this Christmas and throughout the coming year.

God’s love for us is constant, never ending, and trustworthy — no matter how sinful we may be God is reaching out to us to forgive us, and desires to bring us into an ever closer relationship with him through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Monday will mark Jesus’s birthday. I am grateful that Jesus left the splendor of Heaven to come to broken Earth & die a horrible death just.for.me. Thankful Mary & Joseph said yes to God’s plans. He has always been there for me when I needed Him. He gives peace in times of trials & guides our steps. His ways are higher & better than we could imagine.
