  1. I’m with you, Michelle! What a powerful lesson I learned in 2023! I play this song:
    Love Can Turn The World
    If coal can turn to diamonds;
    If sand can turn to pearls;
    If a worm can turn to a butterfly;
    Then love can turn the [my] world!

  2. Oh boy Michelle!
    I just got off the phone with my adult son who is always full of opinions on everything! As I age, I am seeing the wisdom in agreeing to disagree. We could go around the mulberry bush all day and not come to agreement.
    I want to preserve the relationship. Period. Wise advice!

    • Well said! Preserve the relationship first. Or as I like to say, connect before you correct. I pray that you will find that sweet spot with your son to connect over hard things.

  3. Michelle,

    We can agree to disagree. Holley Gerth said in situations like that ask a few questions: “Tell me more” “How/what would that look like?” We are giving the other person a chance to explain their opinions & maybe a combined solution could come about.

    Blessings 🙂
