  6. It’s so easy to get caught up in ‘all that needs to be done’… but Christmas is Simply Jesus, the heart of it and of us… thank you for the opportunity and for the reminder in the beautiful devotion!

  7. I would give a copy to my sister, Tina.
She has lost her husband this past spring, had a stroke last year which has left her right arm paralyzed, has no children so she is totally alone, and is distancing herself from everyone, friend, family and maybe even God.
She desperately needs the comfort and peace that only God can give her. I pray that He continues to draw her closer to Him each and every day, that she may be encompassed in His loving presence. I would willing give up my own copy to help someone else in need as she is.

  10. I would gift the copy to my friend Elizabeth who feels like she has lost her Joy this Christmas. She is going thru the motions for family and giving to others as her nature already is but she’s not feeling your great Joy in her life. Bring back her Peace and Joy this Christmas season!

  11. I would love to gift one to my longest friend (45 years) as she is a widow and very lonely. I would also like one for myself as I suffer in my back and with depression and anxiety. I also am lonely. God bless you all!

  12. My grandfather saw and knew the Lord more profoundly than anyone I’ve ever known. When he passed, my grandmother was left doing her devotionals mostly alone after they had shared that time together for nearly 60 years each morning and evening. She is an avid reader and lover of stories. Gifting her this magazine during this season of Advent would no doubt bring a fresh ray of hope into her devotional time as she continues to faithfully serve the Lord and her family!

  13. So beautiful to read this morning….thank you Lauren. I visualize “watching the flakes fall silently — blanketing the ground, trees, and houses” sitting there right next to you!
    I’d love a copy!!!

  14. I would gift to my mother. She was encouraging me to read my Bible and pray for everything.

  15. My neighbor across the street is who I would gift a copy to. She has been an encouragement to me in my own faith walk!

  16. I live in Canada but I have 2 sisters who live in the US who have not have the faith-saving relationship with Jesus. I have been sharing my own faith with them but it would be great to share this magazine to both of them.

I’m so blessed with this website that I have been subscribing to all the devotionals written by these precious women who love Jesus and who thrive in God’s promises. This hope that Jesus is Emmanuel, He is with us, in the bright as well as in the dark moments – forever, and Who promises that He will never leave nor forsake is one treasure that I want to share with everybody, especially my sisters in the US. Merry Christmas, indeed! God bless you my fellow women and your families!

    • This is the best reason for a gift for your sister’s. It is what is asked of us to spread God’s love. May God bless you and your family.

  17. I would love to receive your Magazine for Christmas. It’s a toss up who I’m going to give my copy too. This is my mom’s first Christmas without her husband she loved and adored for 29 years. plus my dear friend who is very sick. She is the person I do Bible study with and has more knowledge of Jesus and our Lord. She teaches me everyday about Jesus. I may give them both away and enjoy one with me dear friend. If I do get picked Thank you in advance. If not I’ll figure out a way to it one.

  18. I am always looking to (in)courage the women around me! I would give one to Sandy, who is going through a health scare right now…I want her to know in this season of her life, she has hope, she has faith, she has light, no matter the darkness.

  19. I am going to check out this magazine as it looks amazing. I would give to my daughter as she ministers to teens at her church.

  20. What a great reminder. Would gift a copy to my daughter. Thank you for your spiritual insights.

  21. In Courage,

It is easy to lose sight of the true meaning of Christmas with all the hustle & bustle of activities. We must be intentional about reading or listening to devotions & having a quiet time with God. Slowing down to really grasp the fact that Jesus left the splendor of Heaven & came to broken Earth to die a horrible death for us. Christmas is about the Cross. It is Jesus birthday & should be celebrated as such.

    Blessings 🙂
