My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak,
but God remains the strength of my heart;
he is mine forever.
Lord, thank You. Thank You that even as our bodies are failing and our spirits are broken, our hearts can thrive because of Your strength. This world will falter and fail and change. But You, Mighty God, remain faithful! You are the same yesterday, today, and always.
Thank You for Your steadfast presence. Thank You, Jesus, for being Immanuel — God with us. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for making Your home in our hearts. As You dwell in us, help us to dwell in You.
Father God, You have chosen us as your forever children. We choose you forever too. Amen.Leave a Comment

I compiled this list of my favorite encouragement verses quite a long time ago and share them often. Psalm 73:26 is on this list!
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the LORD.
The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.
I love the Lord, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore I will call upon him as long as I live.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the LORD,
Who made heaven and earth.
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 Peter 5:6-7
Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

These past two years have been roller coasters of emotions for me. Dec. 2021 God changed my status from part time to full time benefitted. I was thrilled to tears. The job changed several times. I am no longer working as a clerical typing, filing, answering phones). I just stock rooms, make copies, & do other odd jobs for them. My spirit has been broken. Lately though God has gotten ahold of me & changed my outlook. I am thriving some better now thanks to God’s presence. I cling to Jeremiah 29::11 “For I know the plans I have for you” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you & not for harm. To give you a hope & a future.”
