Heavenly Father, please fill me with your Word. Satisfy me with your wisdom, truth, and love. Woo and convict my heart with your great redemption story. May your words be my joy and my delight — sweeter than any dessert I could crave. Thank you for allowing me to bear your name, to be made in your image. You created me to hear your voice. I am listening. Yes, Lord, help me listen. Amen.

These words so resonate in my heart this morning. My search this year has been to know JOY more deeply and am wanting to find all Bible verses having to do with Joy. My pastor has even started out the year with a series of sermons on Joy!! May you know the JOY of bearing God’s name in your life today.

I too have been experiencing anxiety and depression. Not my first time through this season. I ask Lord for your Peace, Joy, Love, Protection and Contentment. I am discouraged and resting in You and on Your word to bring me out of this season. I too wait for Your will and ask You would restore my health and joy that I may be able to help someone else.
I’m praying for you BC, the Lord Jesus will bring us both through this season and bring the healing and deliverance that we both need. He is faithful always!
