It’s time for another episode of the (in)courage podcast!
This week, our hosts Becky Keife and Mary Carver take a look at what it means to find our joy in the Lord—and what gets in our way of doing so.
Robin Dance, (in)courage contributor joins the episode to share her own story of joy from Week 2 Day 3 of Courageous Joy, leading Becky and Mary to discuss how easy it is to lose our focus on God and attempt to find joy elsewhere. They also turn to Scripture for the story of the “sinful” woman who anointed Jesus’s feet. (You can find the full story in Luke 7:36-50.)
As always, this episode ends with a Bible verse for the week. This week, let’s reflect on Psalm 66:1-2:
Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!

Thank you so much for these Pod cast they are just excellent. Especially on joy. It remains me that the “Joy of the Lord is our strength” how true that is. Plus that song. “I got the Joy of the Lord down in my heart – were Down in my heart down in my heart to stay” I know that is kids song. But it is so true for Adults today. We have the Joy of the Lord down in our Hearts every day. Even if don’t feel it. It is there we just have to ask God to help us bring it to surface. Show us we have so much joy to thank God for infact everything. One is the joy to be alive to enjoy another day in God’s beautiful world. How true that is. Even though we might not feel like doing it. If we are going through something. Thank you for this Joy Pod cast. I just love it. It is brilliant to hear your Voices. You learn so much. You take in much. You hear women being real. Saying what Joy means to them. It is brilliant. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xx
