Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God.
He made us, and we are his—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.
For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever;
his faithfulness, through all generations.
Psalm 100 (CSB)
A posture of gratitude can shift our perspective and our hearts to see God in the present moment. In suffering pain and grief, in dealing with annoyances and inconveniences, in waiting for hope and good news, we can still practice being thankful. This seemingly trite exercise has the power to change our groans to praise and to make us aware of God who is always with us.
Practicing gratitude can look like writing down a list of things you’re grateful for — the beauty of fall, the laughter of children, the perfectly boiled egg, the coming of Advent — or it can be a list of things God has done in the past that you want to remember again. It can be bullet points of God’s promises that you’re clinging onto in the thick of things or how you see God working in those around you. Whatever it is, write it down today — in a journal, on a post-it, or even in the comments below.
Let’s begin this day with a heart of thanksgiving!
My family.
Our new home and God’s timing and provision. We moved in late February and now each of us has our own space as we have worked and schooled from home for most of the time. Our other home would definitely not have been ideal.
My church family and friends!
My family – husband, mom, daughters, son-in-law and two sweet grandgirls. 🙂
Thankful for our family members love and support during this trying time.
The gift of salvation and my wonderful god-fearing husband!

So thankful for God’s healing. So many from our church and town have had Covid – me too! It was so comforting to trust God as I went to the hospital. I struggled with a bit of fear, and then I remembered WHO I could trust, who the true healer is! Some friends are struggling now, and we continue to pray. My prayer is also that many will come to know Jesus or be strengthened in their walk with Him.

I am thank full on to God for every day I am alive. Every day God wakes me up to enjoy another day in his beautiful world. That no matter what going on around me. What problems I have. God will help me through them. I have roof over my head a bed to sleep in clothes on my back shoes on my feet clean running water and food on my table. When so many people all over the world don’t have these things. There is someone somewhere that has no family because they are all not alive or don’t want to know them or their families could be to far away to get to see them and them to their families no matter what that reason might be. Some person could have health need. We could be ok say a prayer for the person with a health need and thanks God your ok That person or persons probably does not know or never heard Jesus loves them. They are not out of the reach of Jesus love and that is why Jesus went to Cross for people like that and you and me. We have a lot to thank Jesus for. Psalm 118 verse 24 one of my favourite verses in the Bible. It says “This is the Day The Lord Has Made Let Us Rejoice An Be Glad In It”. Same as giving thanks. Let us do as that verse say. If we remember do what that verse says every day. God has given us so much. Especially if saved. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xxx
I am grateful for God’s love and his unbelievable plan. For his mercy and faithfulness. For eternity. For my family health, for the sun shining early this morning. For being alive in the land of the living. For the gospel and it’s worthiness, for those keep repeating the Good News !! For colors, for autumn, for Jesus-Christ. For juicy apples, delicious herbal tea, for the human experience needing to travel through a woman body in order to exist in flesh. For knowing my King ! For joy that overflowed.
Thank you Dawn. It’s so true. He gaves us everything. We wouldn’t Be there if it wasn’t from his love. He surely Is our best hope, in fact our only one.
I’m grateful for my biological family and girlfriends. I proclaim God’s goodness in this trying season. My thanksgiving is NOW! My thanksgiving is ALWAYS!!

In Courage,
When I start to feel down or blah I simply make a thankful journal. Writing out every little thing you are thankful for & all that you have does change one’s perspective. We, as Christians, & Americans have much to be thankful for this year & every year. We live in a free country where we can voice our opinions without censorship. We can pray & read our Bible openly. Thanking God now & always for every big & small thing He does & gives us.
Some things I am super thankful for: my salvation, home in heaven, husband & his job & my job. I live in mountains, In Courage, Christian music, Christian TV preachers, friends & family. My list could go longer. Usually get about 200+ items on it at any time.
Blessings 🙂
The beautiful fall leaves that we’ve had this year.
Grateful that the Father let me wake up this morning… grandchildren and children… I’m so blessed

That we still leave a free democratic society. Even though it is bringing present challenges we are still so blessed to live in the USA.
Thankful for the wonderful weekend my mother and I had at a Womens retreat. We reconnected with each other and we worshipped the Lord and met some incredible ladies. Thank you Jesus for your love and saving me death in 2012 and 2013. You pulled me from the pit called suicide. I know you have plans for me and I await for your sign.

I am grateful to God for all the times He has seen me through. Today I am especially thankful that when I walk into a certain room in my house instead of seeing dust that had collected on the furniture I am seeing fresh polished furniture and some clutter that has been dealt with and also some small Christmas/winter decorations that I chose to put out to cheer myself up a bit.
