  2. In Courage,

This post reminds me of a poem “The Dash”:

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on the tombstone from the beginning… to the end. He noted that first came the date of birth and spoke of the following date with tears, but he said what mattered most of all was the dash between those years. For that dash represents all the time they spent alive on earth and now only those who loved them know what that little line is worth. For it matters not, how much we own, the cars… the house… the cash. What matters is how we live and love and how we spend our dash. So think about this long and hard; are there things you’d like to change? For you never know how much time is left that still can be rearranged. To be less quick to anger and show appreciation more and love the people in our lives like we’ve never loved before. If we treat each other with respect and more often wear a smile… remembering that this special dash might only last a little while. So when your eulogy is being read, with your life’s actions to rehash, would you be proud of the things they say about how you lived your dash?

How will we spend our dashes? Each day is a chance to use our dashes to help others, spread the light & love of Jesus in this sin dark world!

    Blessings 🙂

    • Thankyou….love this….now to live the Dash – I pray God will direct me and complete His will in me so I may be a witness to others and live this life as He wants me too , abiding each day in Him.

  3. Yes let us live like Jesus would want to being kind caring and loving to his people. Especially those no one else wants or wants to be with. Like Jesus did in the Bible. As we that are saved are the Church to the unsaved in this world. They watch everything we do. Meaning what we say how we live our lives. If say we are saved like Jesus. They watch us all the more too see if we do an act of kindness or not. Like for example if we see someone we know in that need a lift home they don’t drive. Offer them one. Or if they need help doing something in their home but afraid to ask for help it will take them a bit longer. Offer if free to help. Go visit that person on their own. Or phone them up to ask are they ok.Especially if elderly. Got the time take them shopping if able to go shopping. If not ask them do they need anything. You get it next time at the shop for them. Show Jesus love. Make a difference. Chat someone no one else wants too know. Don’t just say I must do this or this. Go visit this person. Never do it. When with your unsaved family live your life the way Jesus would want you to infront of them. Watching what you do and say infront of them. Saying no if they are doing something you know is not Christian. Pray for them. This is living a Legacy of Faith for Jesus. In a world that needs Jesus. Especially the unsaved. Hopefully they will see Jesus in us. Then get Saved. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little xxx

  4. yes let’s take the time to invest in our children and families..taking time to teach the whole bible and history of how our faith began. let’s take time to pray and live for Jesus

  5. I need a constant reminder of this. That God is in everything especially the raising of children. I pray Jesus speaks to my three miracles through time. I’m by no means the best Christian At All!! But God can work wonders with a simple command. I pray Lord the work you set me to do, the path you set me on that you are so close to me or I to you that my children see the love, grace and power of you!
