It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me. God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:3-11 NIV
Happy Thanksgiving!
On this day we’ve set aside for taking stock, for counting blessings, for gathering and hugging and sharing (and eating all the carbs we can fit on one plate!), we want to also set aside a moment with you.
Dear friends, we are so very thankful for you. Those of us working behind the scenes of (in)courage, those of us sharing our words and our stories and our hearts — we never once take it for granted that you show up in this place, inviting us into your inboxes and your lives, sharing your own stories and hearts.
Thank you for being part of this community. Thank you for sharing your hearts with us. Thank you for being, as Paul says in the passage above, our partners in the gospel. We know He will complete the good work He’s begun in you, and we pray that your love and ours will abound more and more.
Love,
the (in)courage team
