Our friends over at Mary & Martha have kicked off something this month that we’re really excited to share with you. They’re calling it the “No Compare Dare”– an invitation for all of us to intentionally choose to encourage, rather than compare.
Although the month is already half over, we wanted to invite you to jump in and join us! Here’s some more information for you, from Mary & Martha:

What if you took the challenge? The challenge not to compare for the month of June. Can you imagine 30 days without comparing? I spend so much emotion, energy, and time comparing my world to someone else’s, and it brings me nothing but grief! In fact, comparison is the thief of joy!
At Mary & Martha, we get it — we get you! It’s hard out there. Everyone else seems to have a better house, a cuter haircut, newer clothes, better kids — come on, I can’t be the only mom who has had this thought. Social media shows the highlight reel of others’ lives, while we live in our own bloopers!
So let’s do it. We dare you to dare others. Dare to take the challenge and stop comparing for the month of June. The #NoCompareDare launched full force on June 1st, but it’s never too late to join!
And to keep you in the game, we have a few suggestions:
1. Write #NoCompareDare on your wrist, arm, or hand. This is not only a reminder, but a conversation starter and a chance to dare someone else to stop comparing.
2. Share this video on social media to encourage others to join you using this link: https://youtu.be/RGSAdpcYlmo.
3. Bring the #NoCompareDare where you Live, Work, & Play! We’ve created a flyer for you to use that helps explain how to “pay it forward.” Click below for the flyer, and print it out to share with those around you:
4. Let us know how you are doing! Post on Facebook and Instagram your pictures, thoughts, frustrations, and victories. Be sure to add #NoCompareDare so we know what is happening in your world.
We’ll be praying for you!

Okay ladies…we CAN do this!!
I could certainly use a couple of comparison-free weeks. They say, anything you do for two weeks, quickly becomes a habit. Will y’all join me in claiming that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” and in knowing that, we will resist and flee the temptation to compare what God has so creatively made to others?
Love you (in)courage friends,
Bev xx

There have been times when I compared, now if I do a simple compare it’s to remind myself how blessed I am and some of the “worries, things” I don’t have. I’m telling myself hey God has blessed you don’t worry about what you can’t do, just be yourself!
Yes! I believe we as women can make it a habit to quit comparing ourselves to others! What we have is exactly what Jesus wants each of us to have! We need to encourage each other daily and bring joy back to each others lives!
