  1. Happy Mother’s Day To All,
I am thankful to my parents who raised me in the church and to the many youth leaders who witnessed to me in their own unique ways. So thankful for the counselors at the church camp I attended as a young teen. Through them I saw what was missing in my life…what I craved…and took the step from “head knowledge” to “heart knowledge” and invited Christ into my life. What a pivotal point in my life. I raise up praise for each step that has drawn me further into his love over the years. May both my children come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior and have a close and intimate relationship with Him. That is my prayer this Mother’s Day.
    Blessings,
    Bev

    • Bev,

Happy Mother’s Day to you too! what a thoughtful prayer for your children. I hope that your prayer for them is answered.

  2. I’m thankful to Kieth D’Berry who preached in m local church when I was 11. A few months later in another part of the country my husband became a Christian when he preached in another part of the country.

  3. I praise God for good loving parents. They left a good legacy on thrifty spending & saving. Now I’m such a good saver I have extra money for God’s work.
Also thankful for Richard Thomason, my pastor, he took the time to go visit my dad and speak with him on Biblical topics. He also arranged for my dad to be re-baptized. He and his wife have gone out of their way to be there for my family and truly preach the word. He did such a good job that on a Wednesday Bible study night I got re-baptized (immersed baptized)–before I was just sprinkled.
Blessings to everyone and Happy Mother’s day!

  4. This is so poetic, Denise! Thank you for writing grace for us.
My mother showed me grace and truth, raising me with firm love.
My father showed me grace, an attitude of love that saw me as perfect, even while correcting me in a godly manner!
My husband shows me grace in a different way, but it is still grace, and it is still Gods work in our lives.

  5. Denise,
Thank-you for posting this and giving us the chance to share…..

I won’t name them all personally(I might leave someone out)…For everyone’s grace, I am so thankful.

I would like to mention though that I am so thankful for the grace love, joy, honesty and beauty of my mother who is no longer here. And to my aunt not only for her grace but who has gone above and beyond. And of course for my grandmother’s grace, patience, wisdom, love and bedtime prayers.

    Happy Mother’s Day everyone….

  6. I found the Lord through the testimony of a godly woman who was only three years my senior. She was from Dallas, Texas and came to UT to get her graduate degree. Her tender care and nurturing of my spirit brought me to make a decision to follow the Lord and give my life to Him. I’ve lost touch with her through the years, but her influence in my life started me on the road to glory.

  7. I’m see the earth as God’s performance. Every great performance deserves an AWEdience (audience). I’m amazed at the God of creation.
    Happy Mother’s Day siSTARS!
