Q1. As Jean noted, loss comes in many different forms; loss of people we love, death of a family pet, job, physical faculties and more. Can you think of ways your own personal losses have matured you, strengthened your faith, or prepared you for future events? How has your loss ministered to you? What has God done in and through you as a result of it?
Q2. In this last video, Jean, Angie and Jessica had more of a general conversation of the last section of the book rather than spend time on each chapter. They’re difficult subjects, circumstances we typically don’t wish to dwell on. Was there a particular chapter that most spoke to you? Has spending time thinking about these things changed the way you look at growing older? How so?
Q3. Have you given thought to what might go in your “Spiritual Ammunition Box”? Care to share?
Q4. Let us know your favorite quote from Chapters 28-31.
Focus on a single insight and tell us why you love it.
A COMMUNITY-WIDE WRAP-UP!
Remember, on Thursday we’re doing something special:
Tweet or Instagram your images related to our study of Pursue the Intentional Life and they might be featured in a community collage! Any image related to our Bloom study will work–graphics, text overlays of your favorite quotes, pictures of you with your book, or anything that relates to the topic of intentionality. (Don’t forget to tag them with #inbooks so we can find them.)
We’ll also host a Bloom community link-up on on Thursday and you’re invited to share a wrap-up post of your own. It can be a general review of the book, your response to a particular section or how you plan to live a life of greater intention. We hope you’ll join us as we say good-bye to a wonderful Spring/Summer session of Bloom and head into a spectacular 4th of July weekend.
