  1. Thanks (in)courage, you guys have really been an encouragement to me.

    Blessings,

  2. Well said. I love that you included ALL women, who are mothering and impacting the next generation in all the different and creative ways that our God does. Blessings.

  3. As I was at church today I wished all the women there Happy Mother’s Day~ I wanted them to feel special no matter what!!

    Through the sermon I started to cry a lot. This year is super special for me. Mom is dead–died in 2009 at 84, but really mentally died 2 years before with dementia and sundowner’s. Now I’m watching my dad’s dementia getting worse and life just seems to be crashing down on me! Soon I may be a parentless child with no children of my own. It feels surreal!!!

    The song “It is Well with My Soul” sung by Chris Rice on his “Peace like a river” album has become my favorite song his past month or so! :

    Happy Mother’s Day Everyone! ::)

  4. Beth Williams, your note touches my heart. I too wept a lot on mothers day not because my mother has past but because she was away this year for mothers day. At church they played, It is well with my soul and that made my weeping flow like a river. I just felt for so many who may be going through hard times and came alongside a lady in church to encourage her as she wept only to have her totally dissolve in my arms. I encouraged her and hugged her and wished her a happy mothers day. I dont know what she was going through but she needed to release. Later, on mothers day, i sent that same song to a friend to encourage him in his time of loneliness. He also was blessed. So i encourage you Beth in your circumstance that God strengthens you. He brings beauty out of ashes. Be blessed.

  5. Thank you for the beautiful mother day scripture. My mother pass away at forty eight years old in 1988. She is still with me in my heart and I still think about her alot. I still celebrate mother day with her every year. By planting her favorite flower pancy.
