This is an invitation to you – to the world-changers, visionaries, creators, dreamers, writers, life-embracers, encouragement-seekers. To the mamas, the sisters, the introverts and extroverts. Wherever you are, whatever your passion, wherever you most need community – we want to invite you to join us.
We haven’t just thought of you in passing or considered you a number on a spreadsheet.
We have prayed for you.
We have had you on our hearts.
We have done more than make room – we have planned for you. There is a seat here, a space with your name on it, saved for you.
It’s community coming together off the blog post and Twitter – it’s finding a group of like-hearted sisters who are living the same season of life as you, who can hear your story and say, “I get you.”
You can develop a healthy, robust community that lives right with God and enjoy its results only if you do the hard work of getting along with each other, treating each other with dignity and honor. – James 3:18, MSG
Finding community takes hard work. Choosing to stay in community takes even harder work. Being brave enough to share your story is nearly a superpower. But we have prayerfully done the hard work of putting together an online space where you can find community.
We’re inviting you to join us on Monday to register for one of our (in)courager community groups.
We’ll kick off our winter session with some amazing leaders and groups, and a few lessons learned along the way.
These small groups of 30 that meet on Facebook aren’t led by experts or professionals. They aren’t accountability groups, support groups, or places for self-promotion. They aren’t perfect. What they are?
Encouragement groups. {or should I say (in)couragement groups}
The opportunity to live life together with other ladies who share your same passion or stage of life.
A place to come as you are, kick off your shoes, and find friendship, prayer, grace and a shared love for Christ.
It’s our heart that we would come along side you in doing the hard work of getting along in a space where you can feel safe to share you story. We also want to let you know that we might not have the “perfect” group for you in this season, but we’d love to connect you with other wonderful community groups that are available online, and we’d invite you to email us if you have questions.
Our prayer this session is that the (in)courager community groups would be a place of grace. Where the expectations of perfect are left at the front door and the only expectation is that Christ would fill in where we fail.
You can learn more about the groups that we’re offering this session here and read responses to some of our commonly asked questions here.
We can’t wait to meet you!
