  1. Mmmmm…I so much love this! He wants us to *bloom where [He] plants us* and I’ve been reflecting a lot on that recently. Let our light shine – even in the Now, even in how we approach our Now, and even as we consider all He has for us Now…

Your noticing of this Truth in the ordinary story of your life, and your girls struggles, is worship. And it’s beautiful.

Rich blessings to you, Morgan, as you speak these truths to your precious princess-girls and live them out – trusting your Father will use you for purpose {even in your weakness}…

  2. What a great object lessons for your girls! May each time they see that little light, they think of how they can shine for Jesus!

    Thanks for reminding me, too!

  3. What a great post! My daughters both LOVE that song…this little light of mine…I’m gonna let it shine. It’s so sweet to hear them singing it. I’ve not really thought of taking the opportunity to teach them the meaning behind the song. Thanks for reminding me that there is meaning there and I should be teaching them that.

    Many blessings,

  4. This is sweet Morgan! My sisters and I used to fight a lot too… sleeping together (all three of us) on one bed–even until now. And sometimes we fight about full-light or no-light. But we`ve learned to give way to each other as we grew older…

I love that analogy. We may be as little as 4-watt light but we could make a difference if we would let our light shine.

    Thank you for sharing!
