  2. Lysa, Thank you for “Made to Crave”…it is the first book I downloaded onto the Kindle I received for my birthday this year…your words of wisdom along with the truth from God’s Word in Ephesians Chapter One, keep me focused on who I am in Christ—I am who God says I am—In Christ, I am blessed with every spiritual blessing, accepted in the Beloved Son of God, adopted as a child of the King, chosen before the foundation of the world, redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, forgiven by His grace and mercy, and loved with an everlasting love and underneath are the everlasting arms, a love that will not let me go…which is “Satisfying my Deepest Desire with God, not Food.”

  3. As I’ve been reading through Made to Crave, that one phrase has really stuck with me: you were made for more. It applies to so many areas of life!

  4. I LOVE Made to Crave!!

I read this book in January and it made such an impact on me plus the sudden loss of a friend who suffered a massive stroke and died at home by herself. This book and my friend dying were God’s way of telling me to get on the ball and get this body back to what He wants it to be.

Since January, I have lost 35 pounds and 26 inches!! I thank Lysa from the bottom of my heart for finally sitting and writing this book when she did.

    In Him,
    Kimberly

  5. I’m still reading about half way through, but i dont really get it, sorry. I mean i do get the fact that we can crave things more then God and these things can be destructive but its not just food or the lack of exercise. I have in the past lost over 100lbs but being unwell which has nothing to do with my weight makes it difficult to walk up the road i live on. Im grateful to be able to breath, just breath. I am a child of a God that loves me no matter what and now i have to love me as i am and accept things as they are and be grateful. To all those who are succeeding in losing weight and getting healthier – good luck.
