  1. This is really wonderful for those who can benefit from it. I’m only very sorry and disappointed that I can’t, since I don’t live in the US. I love Ann and her writing (have been reading her blog for a long time) and would have dearly loved to be able to read this book. Perhaps those who can least afford it would most need to read such a thing, wouldn’t they? But I understand.

    • Brindusa, sweet friend,

we are diligently working on how we can best meet the needs of our sisters internationally, and are hoping to let you know what we can do very soo… We love you and want to help those who truly can’t afford it… We’ll keep you posted, friend. Thank you for grace…

I send more love than the backs of these thin letters can hold…

      So grateful for you,
      Ann

      • Great news, Brindusa –

Zondervan have graciously extended a complimentary electronic version of Ann’s book to our international readers. Simply fill out the form putting “international” in each of the address fields and we will email you the download details!

        Blessings,
        Lisa-Jo

        • Thank you, Lisa-Jo, and thank you, dear Ann. I wailed some today at the thought I couldn’t have any part in this… I’ve filled out the form.

        • Thanks Zondervan! This is wonderful news for us far afield. I truly do wish I could purchase this book, it’s been on my wishlist ever since I heard of it.

          Thank you so much!

  2. I can’t wait for this book club! I only recently found Ann’s blog, and feel like it was such a gift of God’s timing. I applied to receive a book, because our finances are so very tight right now. I hope that as 2011 marche on, and incourage has more Bloom books, I’ll be able to purchase one as a sponsor.
    Thanks so much!

  3. I would love to receive a copy of the book – the form does not show up on my computer. I hope leaving this comment registers as well. I would love to read this book and share with my friends once I am finished. thank you

  4. when I see the spot for the request a book…it only gives the spot for first and last name and when I enter that it sends an error messege that I missed a question but it doesn’t show up…am I missing a step?

  5. Thank you so much for the opportunity to be able join and read with you. Our family has been hit hard by this economy. My husband has been out of work for 19 months and with four children it is really hard to spend money on anything but essentials. I love reading, it is such an escape for me. I pray that when we are back on our feet, I will be able to purchase books for other Bloom readers in need.
    Love in Christ,
    Kendra Fleming

  6. Thanks for the opportunity for the book. I really enjoy these posts. Our finances are really messed up right now due to my husband being out of work.

  7. This is truly a remarkable community. I am so honored to be a part of it. You ladies -at (in)courage and those who make up it’s community, you are truly amazing!

  8. What a blessing to see that this book is being offered for free to some folks. I purchased the book in December and it is due to be delivered any day. I am thankful that we can afford the book and even more thankful that those who cant may still be able to read it. I usually pass books along that I enjoy so I anticipate that this book wont be in my hands long.
    Blessings
    Carol

  9. oh, how excited i was to see this offer! my husband, 2 kids, and i are currently preparing for our move overseas to work in the field are living on support. as a result, i was fully expecting to not have a chance to read the rest of Ann’s book (read the first chapter that was free online). i’ve been reading ann’s blog for a while now and love her heart, honesty, and writing style. so this is such a blessing to have this chance to possibly get a copy for free! thank you so very much!!!

  10. Thank you all who are making this possible. I haven’t buy a book in like two years!!! This would be awsome.

  11. Hi,
Just want to thank you for reaching out and giving the opportunity to those who can not afford Ann’s new book. This is the first time for me being part of a community like this one and all I can say is thank you for blessing me. I can’t wait to read the book and participate in the club. (Big Hugs!)

  12. I can hardly type the words through my tears. I have contemplated filling out the form for two days now feeling as if I don’t deserve a free book to read because I am blessed beyond measure. But due to my son’s health issues, our finances are poured out to the medical community who has helped him. I love Ann’s writing and truly am blessed by her thoughts which seem to flow so effortlessly to print, often provoked to look deep inside my own thoughts. God is using her in a mighty way. I completely understand if there are not enough books and know the God of all things will use the books for those He intends most. Thanks for sharing with us! Blessings!

  13. What an amazing blessing to have Ann’s book gifted to those of us who are suffering financially! I have followed and been immensely blessed by Ann’s living, writing, and photography. Her anointed…real…raw…beautiful words are like liquid healing grace that I am able with much joy to share with my family and friends. I look forward to being on the other side of this kind of generosity, and sponsoring the giving of many books to others in need!
I have been praying fervently for the complete healing and restoration of Ann’s newborn niece…is there a way to get more frequent updates?…..Blessings as you rest in His arms!!!

  14. I am bummed b/c I REALLY wanted a free copy of your ONE THOUSAND GIFTS book but it said that the offer was closed. 🙁 Is it possible to perhaps still obtain one? 🙁 🙁 Please???? 🙂 I am unable to afford one. 🙁

  15. So grateful to GOD and for all of the people who made it possible to send complimentary copies of Ann’s book. I visit her blog daily and I am always touched by her beautiful words. Even though I have never met her, she is such a blessing to me! Even though my financial situation doesn’t allow me to buy the book at this time, I hope to be able to purchase the next selection and sponsor one for someone who cannot afford one, whether I receive a complimentary copy this time or not. I can’t wait to participate in Bloom! 🙂

  16. I was so touched when I read the 1st chapter online of “One Thousand Gifts”. It spoke to my heart. The burdens of life are heavy and the way is long and we are weary….the book seemed like it would be such an encouragement. I was so excited when I saw that it was being offered to those who couldn’t afford one….but now I see that it is closed. I hope that somehow, someway I can read it someday.

  17. Thank you so much for your generousity. I have just received my complimentary electronic copy and am devouring it!!! I have followed Ann’s blog for a while now and have been greatly blessed. Thank you again for making it possible for me to read her book. May God richly bless you.

  18. I was SO excited to receive Ann’s book in the mail the other day and have already read the first couple of chapters! What she has to say and the lessons she’s sharing are so vital. It makes me want to sit down and devour the whole book at once…but then when I’m reading I have to slow down. Digest. Contemplate. Ponder. Absorb. I truly desire to become these truths that we’re reading about.
A very dear friend suggested Ann’s “Holy Experience” blog to me in December…and it was completely God’s perfect timing. I’m so grateful!!! Thank you Dayspring and Ann for blessing me with this book!! And Ann…thank you so much for sharing your heart in your blog, as well!!! <3

  19. Thank you to all who made the book available to those who could not afford it, what a blessing!!! I am looking forward to reading it and discussing it!! Many blessings to all my sister’s!!!
