Aliza….Your story and your words were wonderful and I have read them several times today. Sometimes when things are going wrong and I pray, I know a have to be patient, but my 45 year job did not allow me to be patient if I was to be a success. I also was afraid if I kept asking, that He would be angry. Now I know what to do and do it the right way. Thank you, Aliza

  2. Thank you for saying it is ok to keep asking. I feel like a broken record when I pray. Thank you!

  3. Hi Aliza!
Due to technical issues this is well worth the wait. We definitely can become discouraged when we feel God isn’t listening, or moving in us.
Thanks for reminding us that Jesus’ presence never wavers and we’re able to come to Him no matter our situation.

    Blessings, Sandy

  4. Aliza I looooved this! This was SUCH an encouragement to me as I pray through some small and big transitions in my life! Soaking in that truth that I should pray even when I don’t feel like it! Like it really does works!!!!! Prayer changes things : )

  5. Aliza,

God tells us to pray continually about all things. The parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8 is a good example. The judge didn’t fear God or care what people thought. A widow kept coming to him with the same plea “grant me justice against my adversary”. The judge refused for some time but finally he said to himself ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually come and attack me!’” Isn’t God much better? God will give justice to those who cry out day & night.

Along with prayer we can mix worship in there. Keep praising God in the midst of your storm. Casting Crowns has a song “Praise You in this Storm”. Chorus: And I’ll praise You in this storm And I will lift my hands For You are who You are
No matter where I am And every tear I’ve cried You hold in Your hand You never left my side And though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm.

    Blessings 🙂
