  1. Thank you so much for sharing. My great nephew, Colby, has been studying, practicing, and training to be a fire fighter, for the past few years, in Texas. He is a strongChristian. I hope to share this book with him. I also have a nephew, in Florida, that is a fire fighter. How great to pass this along to Josh also!

  2. Thank you for this devotion , it is a great reminder that Jesus is the only one that can always rescue us—and He is faithful to do just that. Thanks for the opportunity to win this book!

  3. I often need a reminder that JESUS is all I need! If we could all just trust this reminder! I would love to win and read this book! <3

  6. what a great reminder that God is always there for us in times of trouble or times of joy
The most important thing is to remember to lean on him, and he will provide the strength we need

  7. Your devotion is such a powerful, reassuring illustration of God’s presence in our lives.
I would share this book with my husband, because he’s faced daunting, unrelenting challenges in the past two years.

  8. This absolutely spoke to my heart today. As much as we believe sometimes the situation clouds our thoughts and we forget to trust.

  9. Jason-It’s nice to hear from our male counterparts. We have much in common when it comes to “putting out fires.” Truly Jesus is all we need.

  10. Thank you for this opportunity to win this book. I have enjoyed reading the stories about fire fighting and how he relates it to the Christian walk.

  11. This devotional hit home for me. My dad died in October of 2022 and my only sister in November 2022.

My heart feels like I’m in a nomadic state and at times it’s like I’m stuck.

My heart is broken and the only one who can rescue my heart is Jesus Himself.

Even if I don’t win, I’m still going to buy this book.

    God bless & thanks!

  12. Thank you Jason for sharing your heart for Jesus and thank you for sharing your heart to serve \0/
I would love the opportunity to share your devotional “Jesus is All We Need: Devotions to Experience the Rescuing Love of God” with my women’s study, my family and especially my grandkids

I pray this devotional reaches those who don’t yet know how powerful Jesus is!!

  13. Oh this seems like a wonderful book! Will be praying about giving it to my husband who is a prodigal right now.

  14. This is exactly where my family is!! On fire! I’m the “matriarch “ who is a firm follower of Jesus. This devotional sounds great. I have a “community “ behind me but Jesus IS the only one who can actually bring the fire under control. Praying God helps me be the nozzle.

  15. Jason,
I’m thinking that my adult son who is homeless on the east coast would enjoy your book. Right now he’s getting slammed with a major snowstorm and sitting in his car where he calls home.
Bless you for coming into our inbox. It’s refreshing to hear from a male!

  16. “if God didn’t send Jesus to condemn -He wouldn’t have me do that- & if front line workers assess things, they get worse; instead of taking the ‘nossel’ or intervening… Jason’s writing & speaking rock”

  17. I am walking through several fires right now, so “Jesus is all I need” has kind of become my mantra! Thank you1

  18. I have been praying continually for some way to reach my oldest son. He returned from Iraq a different person as many of our men and women have! I pray for them all, but it really hits you when it is your child. I have not been able to reach him. We used to be close and he used to love our Lord and be at peace and now, well, he’s so vacant and moody. He refuses to talk with anyone or try to get help! Anyway , I just felt my heart leap when I read about your book and that there was a chance to get a copy! I will be praying that I might get one so I can give it to him and it will open his eyes and his heart. Blessings to you and thanks for your wonderful reaching out to others.

  19. I have enjoyed reading his devotions from the DaySpring daily devotional email. I would like to read the rest of his book. Thank you for a chance to win one!

  20. I spent years trying to put out fires just like that. With all the tools but the only one that worked. It took cancer in my husband to finally make a breakthrough. Since, jesus has mended our marriage, our family life, & our souls. The fires are still coming but we feel much more equipped to fight them now!

  21. Yes, only our Lord has the power to rescue us . I can personally testify that I have been saved from Cancer, Heart Disease and now just this month from a fall where I could have totally bled out. Thank our Gracious Loving Father for his saving grace in our lives!

  22. Jason,

Thank you for writing this most timely book. Why is it when trials/fires hit us we do everything we can to extinguish them. Finally when nothing else has worked we say oh well might as well pray. Prayer should be our first thought. Psalm 55:22 states it best Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. Quit trying to fix it yourself & run to God first!

    Blessings 🙂

  23. A heart full of “THANKS”, Jason, for serving our country as a firefighter. We appreciate you sharing your special gift of words with us. No matter how enormous the problem, when God is with us there’s nothing that we need to fear. With His strength, we’re also mighty. His arms will always be there to lean upon! Jesus, I trust You to be with me and guide me, I’m trusting in Your strength, AMEN. PS. God say to every believer, Regardless of the circumstances…”TRUST ME”. Let your Light Shine!

  24. I listened early Sunday morning to Jason sharing with Becky about his life and new book. It was a great conversation and totally relatable about how Jesus draws us to him through every day circumstances in our lives.I was blessed to hear Jason’s testimony about being a firefighter and all the experiences God used to make him realize that Jesus is all we need!!!
