  1. Wow this really touched me today. I reposted! I’ve made huge messes and have so many regrets! Please pray for our family. The past 2 weeks have been tough. God knows the details.

    • Cathy,

Father God you alone know the situation Cathy & family are in. Shower them with your love & grace. Guide them through this trial they are facing.

      Blessings 🙂

    • Cathy, absolutely praying. You’re beloved by Him and by this community, and I hope you know that you’re most definitely not alone in your regrets. Much love.

  2. At times I wish I could redo my entire life or at least big chunks of it- parenting, marriage, friendships, family, education, etc- I have resolved to do the best I can now. It isn’t always easy, and I struggle to forgive myself for not doing a better job in the past but I know God forgives me. I won’t say I always get it right these days, but I am aware and I try. I guess I will always have regrets but it is what I do with those feelings that counts.

    • You’re not alone, Madeline. I share many of the same regrets and have difficulty, even after many years, knowing what to do with them. I’m on a similar path moving forward.
It’s good we know God walks with us.

    • Madeline,

You are definitely not alone. Would love a complete do over starting in HS. Oh the many changes I would make. It’s to late now. Even this year I did/said something I’m not proud of. Have asked forgiveness from God but can’t seem to forgive myself. Don’t beat up on yourself. Remember we are flawed human beings. Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. I believe that means yourself also!

      Hugs

    • “I guess I will always have regrets but it is what I do with those feelings that counts.” Yes to all of this, Madeline. I think getting through the regret is not a one-and-done but a slow process of re-remembering to sink into God’s truth. He is in the business of restoring what the locust have eaten in your life, my life, and in the lives of us all. He will be faithful to do it. xo

  3. Kristen,

I have tons of regrets about the choices I’ve made in HS & beyond. There are times I feel like a failure. Then I realize that God has me on a specific path. Even when I veer off the path He will gently shepherd me back. He will use the pain to mold me into a more Christ like person. Going to let the love of Christ hold & save me.

    Blessings 🙂
