  1. Grace, what a great analogy! The awesome added ingredient is that God’s provided wisdom is always fully what we need. No empty calories or harmful cracker crumbs for us to scavenge. May we always be hungry, persistent & ready to receive His goodness. Blessings! (((0)))

  2. I “generally find birds disgusting” too, so I can appreciate the change of perspective that gave you this insight! Good point!

  3. What a timely word. Thank you so much! I especially receive the encouragement to SEEK WISDOM as it is sometimes hard to pick out the truth from that that does not matter. Blessings!

  4. Thank you, Grace! I’m going to ponder your words of wisdom throughout my day. I have several issues I’m puzzling through and maybe your suggestions will help.

  5. Beautiful. Our God provides in all ways, circumstances, and situations. Thank You, Lord, for being the Great Provider.

  6. OH MY GOSH!!!! Grace every single word you wrote I can MORE than relate to!!!!
#1 “Or the times I’ve asked but didn’t receive what was given to me because of the way it was provided or because of the messenger it was given through. I wonder if my preferences become pickiness and I end up foolish instead of wise when God’s been providing wisdom for me all along.”
#2.. “I’m not great at this as I like to receive what I like the way I like it. I can be incredibly childish and immature and stubborn in that way, and I am more often than not. But I want to learn from the birds. I want to be hungrier than I am picky for the wisdom God wants to give me” …(#2 IS more true than I’d like to admit…hahaha)
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. God willing today will be a day of wisdom \0/

  7. Grace,

Loved this “When the opportunities to learn and grow in wisdom present themselves, we need to be shrewd enough to find the truth and open enough to receive it.” We/I need to be less picky about how we get/receive God’s wisdom. May we all be hungry like the birds for more of God’s wisdom. He knows best.

    Blessings 🙂
