  1. A friend sent me a picture of a root she pulled from her yard. It looked hearty, robust & rather intertwined. What had been visible above ground was a spindly small green stem that kept coming back each time she tugged it, what appeared to be out of the ground for the last time. Yes may we be examining the depths & letting Jesus’ work on the cross completely rid of us of Satan’s condemnations!

    • Amen! Thank you Ruth for the powerful visual of the root that seemed innocuous on the surface but was deep and intertwined beneath! Satan’s condemnations are indeed something we need to uproot completely, by the power of Christ! Amen! Thank God for Jesus, Thank God for God! And Thank you for sharing! We will banish every condemnation to the glory of God, Amen!

  2. “Jesus is standing guard over you.” Michele, you made my day with this reminder, thank you!

  3. Michele, thank you for sharing those verses and for the visual with fixing the fountain. I guess I never considered that confidence needs maintenance!

    • The verse that came to mind when I ready your comment, Pearl, was this: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23). Thank you for the encouragement, sister.

  4. I love your illustration, Michele! And I love your encouraging words, straight from the Bible. Straight from God’s heart to ours! Thank you!

  5. Michele
Loved this for today if only we could daily know in our hearts that we are forgiven for present and past things!
Instead of thinking those thoughts I am going to pray help me to believe I am forgiven!
    Blessings to you!
    Linda

  6. Thank you Michele for the calmness of your words today. As I read I could hear “the sound of water tumbling softly over a bed of rocks” and the sound and vision delivered a peace that was needed.
My confidence is also subject to wear and tear. This verse will keep me close to Him not close to my lack of “less than”
“Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”
    2 Corinthians 1:21-22 (NIV)
    Thank you

  7. Michele,

When condemnation comes I often pray “Change my heart of God. Make it ever true. Change my heart O God. May I be like you.” I want to be less condemning of myself & others. Only God can help me defeat the devil. Great devotion. Thank you.

    Blessings 🙂
