Even though we wish we could see all that is to come, let’s loosen our tight grips of control and with open palms, trusting in God because His goodness, love, and faithfulness are real.
Lord, there is so much ahead of us that we can’t foresee, so much we wish we could control but can’t. We hold all the unknowns, questions, desires, and longings out to You. We want to trust You, but we acknowledge that we need help with that sometimes. Help us to trust You with the month ahead, and thank You that we can be anchored in faith when we are tethered to You. In Your name we pray, amen.

Prayer for mental clarity after head injury, and wellness for my husband.
It seems a small thing … My snoring is very troubling to my husband, but he doesn’t want me to do a sleep study. As I was praying about it yesterday, I felt the “nudge” to ask the Great Physician for healing of my snoring. There’s a history recently of Him performing complete healings in both myself and others.
Praying for healing. It’s not a small thing. My husband is a snorer and it disturbs his sleep and, often, mine even more. Poor sleep is not good for anyone.
Please pray for healing for my left shoulder. & neck. Pray for a complete healing for me from this pain. God Bless you .

My husband received the results of an echocardiogram on Friday. They are not good at all. However, his follow up appointment isn’t until the 10th, the doctor confirmed he doesn’t “need” to come in sooner. It’s very difficult to just set it aside with no perspective on the test results. Please pray that both of us can step back and trust in the Lord for now.
Laurie, may you both hold onto to Jesus & each other in the waiting! Dear Lord give them endurance & peace. Block the what if thought wheel that distracts them from leaning into You in the waiting. Pray for my dear sister, who was just diagnosed with terminal, pancreatic cancer. There is so much I could say, but God knows all of the details. Our family has suffered crushing losses over the past couple of years, and we are heartbroken.

I need prayers for healing following an unexpected job loss and the strength to pursue a new job.
I am to give a talk on finding Joy in suffering to our church’s women’s retreat next Sat. Please pray it is Jesus’ story not Ruth’s. Also pray I choose an outfit befitting of the setting. I’m not typically one that worries about what to wear but for some reason I’m struggling in my closet on this one. LOL.

Please pray for my dad and I. He is in end-stage heart failure and has declined really quickly. He lives by himself and I am his only support. We are trying to get some help but it is just he and I at the moment and it is a lot. Please pray that we may get the help we need even today. We are both so very tired.
Dear Mary…My heart aches for you as my father had the same situation, but was from cancer. We tried to care for him, but finally had to put him into the hospital which he did not want to do. Mary….I pray that you find help hopefully today on Sunday. God intervenes with things that we don’t understand. I know how very tired you are and your soul is weary. I will pray for you and your Dad as I remember how crushed I was when I knew my father was going to die. He was 58 and I was only 23. He was my best friend. (in)courage…….I still pray that God will somehow connect me again with my now 16 year old grandson. My son has dismissed me as his mother which is also heartbreaking, but I know he will never come back to me. Why, I don’t know except he says I am a liar, a drug addict and so many more terrible obscene words. His wife have hated me from the beginning as she thought my relationship with my son was too close and she did not want me to talk to him anymore. I said to her, “He was an only child, what would you have had me do. Ignore me? This woman has major problems with her own mother so how did I stand a chance? Well, I didn’t. She told him it was either her or me. Well we know who won that threat. I am 78 years old and live alone which keeps my mind swirling. I have been praying for 6 years about this, but maybe God’s plan is not ready for me. The ‘wait time’ really hurts me at times, but I still have hope in the Lord. Thank you Jesus…………………….Betsy Basile

I would like to ask prayer for wisdom in how to deal with church hurt, I have forgiven but I am struggling with knowing how to move forward: not sure yet whether God wants me to stay and I must trust Him for restoration of the broken relationships in church or whether He wants me to go to a new church.

First off, I just want to pray for all the prayers ahead of my comment and after my comment. I pray that you feel the Lord’s embracing presence through all your needs and circumstances. May you feel His love, goodness, guidance and comfort surrounding you.
I also want to pray for everyone affected by this winter weather. In my area around NC, we got somewhere between 4 inches to 10 inches. I pray for everyone to stay safe and warm.
Also, I want to ask prayers first my mom and dad as they have both been having a lot of arm and leg pain recently. I ask for healing there.
Lastly, I want to ask for a prayer for me. I have been having a lot of arm and leg pain/numbness on my right side. I don’t know if it’s a neuropathy flare up or something else. My right side of my body feels a lot older than my left side. I’m only 26 and have had a disability all my life (cerebral palsy), but I’m just not sure what this is. So I ask for healing there.

I am almost 7 months pregnant. My partner has abandoned me numerous times during my pregnancy, each abandonment unexpected where he takes his possessions while I am in class or at an appointment, and then he always returns in a matter of days professing his love. This last time he promised me that he preferred me not to work and that he would rather I stay home and take care of the house, and that if I fronted all the money for all expenses, that he would pay me back for them once he sold his house in another state. After spending over $18,000 over all these months on household expenses and life in general, he secretly left me while I was at a baby appointment two days before we were supposed to go down together and close on the house. He closed on the house by himself, pocketed all the money, and says he owes me nothing. Please pray that my perfect little baby boy and I will see more of God’s goodness in the land of the living than we can scarcely imagine. ❤️
