I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise,
and I have been saved from my enemies.
The cords of death entangled me;
the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
The cords of the grave coiled around me;
the snares of death confronted me.
In my distress I called to the Lord;
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came before him, into his ears.
Psalm 18:1-6 NIV
What if you started every morning and ended every night with the simple declaration, “I love you, Lord, my strength”?
When we center our thoughts on God — on His love, His presence, His strength in our lives — we will experience the peace we long for.
Calling out to God won’t always immediately change our circumstances, but we can rest assured that He hears our cries. God is our source of help, hope, and strength. Declare your love for Him today!

As I travel through this journey called life, I know without a doubt that The Lord is my true strength!
I love you Lord , my strength. As we sit here today, the second Sunday in the row that our Church Service was cancelled due to very dangerous weather. They are calling out for 18 inches in our region. It is frightening as we have not had this much snow in a decade. Living in a Senior Living Facility, we have no garages and bone cold temperatures for 7 days so no melting there. We could lose our power and that means no heat, no refrigerators and at night, no light. I am going to say that phrase ” I love you Lord, my strength.” For all of you that are experiencing this enormous storm, please stay at home today and be careful when shoveling that you need to take your time. I will pray for the entire country that we are able to get through this dangerous storm. It truly is very bad……………..Love to everyone, Betsy Basile
Betsy,
Prayers for you as you & others deal with this storm. May He keep the electricity on, everyone warm & comfortable. Asking God to be with you all & care for you as only a loving Father could.
Blessings 🙂
In Courage,
Lord you alone are my rock & salvation. My stronghold in times fear. You alone have been there for me in midst of trials. You have walked me through to the other side. I declare my everlasting love for you Jesus.
Blessings 🙂
This is my psalm! I love you my Lord and my strength. Thank you for hearing me.
This beautiful verse is one of my “breath prayers” every morning. I inhale “I love you Lord” and exhale “my strength.” These 6 words center me and anchor me for the day, and are an expression of my love for the LORD every morning. Thank you for confirming again for me how powerful declaring this verse is.
