Let the whole earth shout triumphantly to the Lord!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God.
He made us, and we are his—
his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and bless his name.
For the Lord is good, and his faithful love endures forever;
his faithfulness, through all generations.
Psalm 100 CSB
Here’s the powerful truth about giving thanks:
Gratitude lifts our hearts beyond the weight of our circumstances to the unfailing goodness of God. As Psalm 100 invites us to, we can enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. In deep pain, in prolonged waiting, even in the middle of life’s small inconveniences, choosing thankfulness becomes a pathway to God’s presence.
When we turn our attention to God’s faithfulness, our perspective changes.
Gratitude opens our eyes to see God working right here, right now.
Whether we’re giving thanks for the beauty of fall, the laughter of loved ones, or the reminder of His promises, each moment of thankfulness is a moment spent in the light of His love.
Write down what you’re grateful for: today’s blessings, memories of God’s goodness, and promises you’re holding onto. Speak them aloud, jot them in a journal, or share them with someone you trust. Let this practice turn your heart to praise, for “the Lord is good and His love endures forever.”
And as we take time to count our blessings, know that you are counted among ours. Every one of you in this community is a gift to us. Thank you for letting us share in your journey of faith and for sharing your own stories with us. We are grateful for you, today and always.

We were I live in county of Northern Ireland. We do celebrate thanks giving over here. But I do like the ways you celebrate to say thank you to God. It nice to do that. What comes to mind is Psalm 118:24 “This is the Day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it” plus Psalm 150:6 ” Let everything that has breath praise the Lord” to good verses in the Psalms to do with thanking God for being alive and all he has given us. I say most days if not every day. Thank you Lord for waking me up to enjoy another day in your Beautiful world. Despite how man that is not saved tires to destroy it. As everyday a good day when the Lord wakes you up to enjoy it. Like a good saying I found on the internet “God gave you the gift today of 86,400 seconds this day to live for him. Have you used one to say thank you to God?” That made me think when I first read it and every day I read it. All so true and ways to give thanks to God in all I say. The most important one of all is. To thank God for sending his song to die on Calvary Cross for us. As John 3:16 says” For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son” Happy Thanks give to you all. Thank you Lord they over then can celebrate it to thank you for all you have done for them. Amen. Love Dawn Ferguson-Little Enniskillen Co.Fermanagh N.Ireland. In my prayers all incourage xx

In Courage,
Life can get busy & stressful with work, family & trials thrown at us. It can be so easy to get down & sad especially at the holidays. When that happens to me I count my blessings by making a thankful journal. You can find things big & small like home in Heaven, Salvation, Jesus to house, car, job, hubby and simple items such as days off work, rest, paper pens. My list is usually over 200 items. Want to make sure I include everything. That quickly changes my mood.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Blessings 🙂

I thank all of the writers of the devotions. They inspire me, guide me, encourage me, remind me of what I should be doing, they open my eyes to God’s truth, they help me to grow in God’s love to others & myself, they prompt me to take the next step – whatever that may be, & they show me God’s love! On this day of Thanksgiving I praise God & thank Him for each of you! Know that you are a true blessing to me & so many others. THANK YOU!
