  1. My worth at work is based solely on productivity and how much work I can complete in a day. It’s really hard to believe it can be any other way

  2. In Courage,

Much needed by many people. Society tells us to hustle, do/achieve more then you will be noticed. God’s world turns that logic upside down. He loved us while we were yet sinners. Jesus calls us beloved children of God. His love is such that He left the splendor of Heaven to come to broken Earth & die a horrible death to save us. To bridge the gap caused by sin. You are wanted, loved & cherished. Never ever forget that!!

    Blessings 🙂

  3. (in)courage……………This is a perfect reminder to all of us that are struggling through a dark season. For 5 years I have grieved that I didn’t do enough to urge my husband with dementia to do what the doctors told him he needed to do. He did not do anything and said there was nothing wrong with him, but I, as his caregiver and lived with him 24/7 knew he was playing with fire. My son has sent me 3 emails saying very obscene and very hurtful lies that my husband told him and at 55 he never thought to contact me and see if those things my now ex-husband was telling him was true. I am alone now and not one of them will speak to me or contact me. What is my son afraid of? That he will have to hear the truth? I think so. When I really get so emotional I sit in my apartment and cry and pray for help. This is a wonderful devotion that you gave us today, because it once again reminded me that I am NOT alone. God is always there and I know He is my beloved Father. Sometimes, my Holy Spirit just needs to give me a little nudge to get me back on track when I lose my way for just a bit. I know He wants me and loves me. I thank all of you at (in)courage a Blessed Thanksgiving and I also thank all of you for your prayers and support. It is very important to know that there are people out there that don’t even know me, but pray for me. Love to you all, it is almost time for church……..Betsy Basile
