  1. In Courage,

Praise God He is with us in our trials. We have Jesus who is well acquainted with our adversities. He knows all to well about being alone in sufferings. His own disciples left Him there on the cross. My desperate time came when I put my dad into Gero psych unit at hospital. There were many days I would visit & then sit in the lobby crying asking God to just take dad if this is how it’s going to be. But God came near & through friends gave me hugs of reassurance. He was with me knowing how the story ended.

    Blessings 🙂

  2. Just the absolute perfect word of the Lord my sister in Christ needs to hear today. She has been battling health issues for so long and her husband asked me to come for he feels her will is broken. As her pastor and friend I pray to bring the Spirit of Comfort and encouragement to her today.

  3. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord. Phillipians 4 vs 7
I’ve experienced this peace in the midst of brokenness and truly shocks me how I can have this peace when nothing in my life at that moment has changed …the heartbreak remains but the peace of God is in the midst , which makes all the difference.

  4. Wow this is my life right now as I am struggling. My mother passed away in April. My youngest child graduated from high school in June and went away to college 3 1/2 hours away in August. My son middle son moved to NYC a week after she left. In the midst of all of this my siblings (9 of them) all decided we needed to clean my parents house out as soon as possible and sell the house. I should say seven of my siblings did, as three of us wanted to give ourselves some time to grieve and to wait a little bit. It has been a very difficult six months and there are days getting out of bed and dressed are a struggle. I work at a church and honestly if it weren’t for the parishioners I don’t know how I would have moved forward as much as I have. I will keep this and read it everyday. I will share it with both of my sisters and hope it gives them some measure of comfort like it has given me.

  5. Thank you this is the reminder that i need. My father in law is in the hospital in another state and we are trying to go see him this week. Not sure if that is going to happen as my daughter an hour away from us and she is in the hospital with a blood infection. Test show that its in her hand where she recently had surgery and it’s now in her bone. The doctors are doing other tests for other areas of her body and has not focused on her thumb which really hurts. She is on antibiotics praise God. Please keep my family in your prayers. Oh on top if all this my niece is on the hospital and my husband’s aunt is in hospice. So long story short thank you for reminding me that God is near.
