  1. Thank you, (in)courage for the privilege to be a part of your community. You inspire and encourage me to pursue the heart of this message daily! Happy Independence Day to all of you!

  2. Jen, i just read Just open the door, a gift from my sister Nancy in Atlanta! I was inspired to make a pound cake in case people came by unexpectedly. This happened last night! I drizzled it with orange brandy, topped with berries, and ice cream. Voila! But you are right, spontaneous hospitality is better.

  3. We have alot to thank God for the privilege to be alive. For this is the day the Lord has made lets us rejoice and be glad in it. The privilege to read his word freely say our prayers freely. When our brothers and sisters in parts of world don’t have that. They go into hiding to praise the king of the world who die for us. We don’t give God half enough praise for all he has done for us. Plus we don’t pray for enough or give God enough thanks for our ffreedom of for having a roof over our head and bed too sleep in. I myself am guilty of theses things also. When people in our world are homeless. So me included should stop and thank God more for what we have. Not take things for granted. As it is God who gave us everything we have. Pray for people who have nothing and my brother’s and sister’s in the world who go into hiding to worship the King of the World who loved us so much he sent Jesus to die for us. John 3 verse 16. 4. In Courage,

Most people think the 4th of July is just another holiday. A day to be off work & relax. While that may be true-it is important to remember that this day marks our freedom. Freedom from tyranny. We get to choose who or what we worship. We honor our military, thank them & their families for the sacrifices they make for us to enjoy our lives. Just look around the globe at other countries. They don’t have half the freedoms we have. We must be very careful to keep those liberties. Don’t let anyone take them away from you. Benjamin Franklin after signing the Declaration of Independence said “you have a republic if you can keep it.” We are slowly losing our republic. We are slowly allowing others to take our liberties away. Some are trying to take away our religious freedom-the main thing we fought England for. Let us work hard to maintain our republic & remember why & how we got here.

    Happy 4th!!
