I thank my God every time I remember you.
In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
It is right for me to feel this way about all of you,
since I have you in my heart
and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel,
all of you share in God’s grace with me.
God can testify how I long for all of you
with the affection of Christ Jesus.
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more
in knowledge and depth of insight,
so that you may be able to discern what is best
and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,
filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes
through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:3-11

Thank you for a timely reminder that He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it. I need to remember that my progress in this world is solely dependent upon Christ working in and through me. God finishes what He starts…and he’s not finished with me yet.
Blessings,
Bev

The sweet hues of His creation, the power of these verses … a perfect match this Sabbath morn!
I’m focusing on verses about how we’re way too prone to parade around in black, and what we need to do to cast that whole thing aside

A blessed Sabbath to you, my dear incourage friends!

What a sweet and timely reminder. I constantly need to be reminded that He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it. Too often I complain about life & stuff–especially work. I must remember He will put me exactly where He wants me & is watching over me & rejoices in me always!
Thanks for the nice picture also!

This is my favorite book in the Bible. 4:13 has been my life verse since I was a teen long ago. Thanks for this scripture today

I have a small piece of artwork incorporating part of these verses as a Mother’s day present from my daughter (she was about 9 or 10 at the time). It sits on my chest of drawers by the bed & is one of the first things I see when I wake & one of the last before I sleep.
