It’s Thanksgiving weekend, and I’m sure many of you are eating leftover turkey in sandwiches, doing a little holiday sale shopping, and probably decorating your home for Christmas. That is pretty much what we are doing around our house too!
The Thanksgiving weekend is always one of my favorites. Good food (and our traditional holiday family brunches!), time for family and anticipating the joy of the Christmas season. I am reminded over and over again of our blessings.
We’ve already decorated a tree and the wonderful sights, scents and feelings of Christmas are starting to fill our home. We are treasuring and remembering the reason for the season.
We have our new Willow Tree Nativity from Dayspring.com’s store on display in our dining room. I just LOVE IT! So much so that I will be giving a Willow Tree Nativity scene away to a reader on Monday, so be sure to come by The Inspired Room Monday to enter to win!
I pray you all have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend, dear readers of (in)courage!
PS. Dayspring is offering an amazing Super Sale this weekend, so check out the wonderful products and deals if you are doing some holiday shopping! There is a coupon code below!

I will not forget to decorate my office. While working here I have been concerned that if overly overt I would “here it” from my boss. I have decided I need to not be afraid of him but honour God and share the gift of Christ with him and my co-workers.

I don’t do much decorating. This year especially since I have family issues to deal with.
Love Thanksgiving weekend with 4 days off to rest and enjoy some family time. My family is so spread out that we don’t ever get together except for funerals. Everyone has such a busy busy schedule. I did get to see my husband’s whole family this year and it was a treat!
