  1. You girls crack me up! You should see my counters… spotless. Well, they have been since earlier today when I filled two baskets worth of stuff and stowed them in my bedroom…

Thanks so much for all you both do!

    • Better Angie’s counters than mine. In my galley kitchen, the counters never seem to be spotless… I think that is because there isn’t much space. 🙂

  2. The gum! My mama was the gum police at our house. Love the realness of this. Fun.
Can’t wait to hear from all the authors. Annie is one of my favorites. Thanks for all you do.

  3. i feel so at home that i’m thinkin’ you should bring messy counters and babbling Charlotte on the road with you as stage props, Angie.

this makes me want to have important information so I can make a hilarious video with a friend. and thanks for the “bl-ooooom” throwback– it’s your dedication to the fans that really makes you shine 😀

seriously, so glad there’ll be regular stuff in the interim. enjoy your “break”!

  4. LOL this was great to see this morning! Y’all crack me up! Love the gum, rooster hair, and NEW hair cut Jessica! Although I might be late in telling you that! LOL

  5. love the video. It made me smile! My counters are a mess too. Hoping my white gloved Aunt doesn’t show up today 🙂 Can’t wait for May.

  6. Ladies, dear ladies,
That was the healthiest, most fun video to share ever. Too many times in the Christian world we don’t share our scrapes, bruises, and “not too perfect” stuff.

Can’t wait to see the new posts. You both did an amazing job. Rest up.
    jan

  7. You guys are just too funny. You remind me so much of myself at that age. Never ever lose this – your smiles, your quips and the REAL you. I made an acronym for REAL – Release Everything (to God) and Live… You are living this. I am so grateful that I can sneak a peek at your lives as you live them with Christ at the centre.
May Christ remain at the Centre of your Lives (a praise song).. for ever.
    Blessings,
    Jan

  8. Your video made me smile big…and Jessica, I LOVE your new haircut!! Adorable!
And Angie…love the rooster ‘do too 😉

Can’t wait to hear the next book selection!

  9. You two are so hilarious! It made my morning 😀 So glad you all are just you, kids, counters & all. Have a refreshing break.

  10. Nothing better than just kicking it back and being real. Isn’t that what true community is all about? Some wild and crazy things happened at church this morning, little leftover gifts from the One Thousand Gifts study. I will blog about it later, but I had my grandbaby overnight last night and I’m a wee bit zombified at the moment so I’ll just say I love you gals and appreciate you so very much. Have a beautiful Sunday and a great week. Oh, and thanks for helping me feel less guilty about my messy counters. 😉

  11. Love it! You have to be silly at some point when you are serious during the book discussions!

  12. Thanks for the fun video. I had to watch it a second time. 🙂 It was a nice distraction of what I was thinking about at the time. 🙂

  13. and this is why I love incourage! all the realness, even the counters! thank you for showing this and bringing a smile to this face 🙂

  14. This video is hilarious, I love it! What a dose of reality to make us all feel at home! I’m way behind on One Thousand Gifts, need to catch it up. But then looking forward to the next selection! Thanks, girls! 😉

  15. Ohhhhh! Thank you for the early morning gaffaw! You look like you are having so much fun…what a blessing to have each other. Loved my first journey into your book club and am looking forward to more. You are very much appreciated 🙂

  16. Had to watch it twice to get enough giggles for the day. Thanks for being you…I’ll miss you until May.

  17. This is a-maz-ing!!!! I LOVE it!!!! 🙂
I’m so excited to see what the next book is going to be!! hopefully just as amazing as the last one!!!! 🙂

  18. Seriously… I just love ya’ll! Wish we could get together for lunch or coffee or something. Maybe the next time I get to Nashville… or if you’re ever up around St. Louis. Enjoy the break!

  19. Y’all crack me up!

I wasn’t able to join in the book club for One Thousand Gifts since I was (and still am) in the middle of reading the Bible through in 90 Days. Woot! Anyway, I plan on diving in after we’re finished (it wraps up on March 31 if I’m on schedule with everyone else) and go back through the videos of each chapter. I can’t wait!

  20. That was HILARIOUS!

I love these videos because they are so natural and effortless (um, totally not saying you didn’t…you know, put effort), but it’s great seeing the ‘real’ you(s).

Um, love the counter! Messy or not, ha.

And it’s not fair to be born as pretty as you too. 🙂

  21. That was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time 🙂 It was nice to see you in new outfits, too 😉 Thanks for what you do, can’t wait for the next book!

  22. Oh you lovely, crazy, fabulous, hysterical women! Just peeking back on line after a weekend of delicious discovery of how much one can love a baby’s toes and saw this. You give me the warm fuzzies! Thank you for keeping it real, making us all feel so loved, and introducing my little Zoe to her (in)courage family.

Love you girls – *because* of your kitchen – not in spite of it! 🙂

    Lisa-Jo

  23. Haha! You two are so funny. I love that you keep it real. I just rewatched the old video and laughed all over again. So glad that Bloom is place where we can discuss serious topics but have fun doing it.

  24. Love it! Hilarious, real and fun!!
Love Angie’s faces after Charlotte has eaten the last puffs!! Just awesome!
And the gum! Oh the gum! I would totally do that! Ha!

  25. But I like your messy counter! It makes me feel better about mine! I am not the only mom in the world who doesn’t have a clean counter all the time. 🙂

(Or a clean body, I say, as our daughter tattoos me with a marker. LOL!)

  26. Love you girls sooo much! Can’t wait to hear what the next book is!

ps love your new hair Jessica ~ and Angie you are cute no matter what your hair is doing – you are both so adorable and REAL!!
