  1. This is such a beautiful and timely reminder! I’ve always been drawn to the imagery of the Potter shaping the clay. Thank you for sharing this.

  2. So true ! Thank you for posting this. When we are broken He is the One who restores us ! May God bless you in every way and may you experience His loving care today, this Christmas and every day in the New Year.

  3. “When you’re broken, you just want someone to take it better.” YES. Thanks for this reminder that there is one who knows our brokenness, and know how to heal it in just the way we need. So glad your words are with us today!

  4. I always desire to be emptied more of self. I don’t want there to be anything left that interferes with His Reflection. But I am full of me. Just ask my kids, or my husband. Thankfully, He is patient and I am learning.

  5. Thank you for sharing this. I am in this place today, dealing with some issues having to do with my son’s dad and my son. It’s been a difficult day and I needed the reminder that God can smooth those places in my heart, if I let Him.

    • April, I will be thinking about you. I pray that the peace that only He can give envelopes you tonight. He promises to carry you through those hard times. Lean on Him. His grace is more than enough!

  6. Thank you all for your sweet comments! I’ve had a long day due to a doctor’s appointment, so it really warmed my heart to read all of these comments. I appreciate each of you taking the time to read my post. I’m glad it helped you. We all experience those rough seasons.

  7. Carrie Cooper,

For some reason, your comment didn’t show up underneath the post. It did come to my email, though.

Nice to ‘meet’ you, Carrie! In addition to having CP, I was diagnosed with spondylosis after a stress fracture eventually caused a vertebrae to break off. The worse part was it didn’t show up on any tests, so I was in a lot of pain for that year until I had a spinal fusion.

  8. I love this: “God has intricately formed me for a specific purpose, but I have to be willing to be molded into His image. I pray that I am always pliable.” Such a necessary prayer. Thank you for this post!
