The Generosity Experiment: Day 3
To start reading from Day 1, click here.
“Find out what happens when you look for opportunities to give.” A simple sentence, packed full of complex introspection and heart changing impact.
I will advise you this Experiment needs to come with a warning label.
Caution: Due to focus on divine appointments and the needs of others, you may experience a reduction in your pace of life. This may be caused by a conscious change of heart. Examples of small outbursts may look similar to allowing others in line before you, driving 5 miles slower to allow others to enter traffic safely, smiling as you encounter others, and not rushing about to simulate importance. An awareness of your stereotypes of others and pride will be noticed rapidly. But when dealt with properly, enjoyment of the holiday season may quickly follow. If these symptoms occur, do not be alarmed. This is only natural when generosity is added to your daily intake.
I’m finding out what happens. . . in me.
What’s happening in you? What would be on your warning label?

Since your first post, I’ve been praying for opportunties..Funny thing, yesterday was a terrible day, one of those where you find the need to hide in your bed till it all goes away. Instead, I made a Christmas wreath for the door of the city afterschool program. They’ve never had a wreath, and making it helped me see my week differently and find a little joy.
its a rambling thought…funny what God uses to bring perspective..thank you for your posts and for the encouragement during the holiday season

My warning label would read, “you may find riches beyond your understanding”

This is so clever, the warning label. Very thought-provoking, too. My warning label definitely includes “results beyond what is asked or imagined.”

First of all I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick
question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was curious to know how you center yourself
and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to
15 minutes are lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
Any recommendations or tips? Kudos!

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the
layout of your website? Its very well written; I love what youve
got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is important and all.
However think about if you added some great graphics or videos to give your posts more, “pop”!
Your content is excellent but with images and videos,
this website could definitely be one of the best in its field.
Good blog!

Thankfully, the increasing popularity of sites such as Pinterest offer a wide variety of services which can be used by
a clever internet marketer. The best aspects are, there are more benefits, and
a higher profit margin. I’ve had friends in multi-level
marketing who spent all their time trying to sell product and just recruited the occasional new down line
member.
